HondaGenuine Factory OEM 08Z04-SCV-100B, fits 2003 - 2011 CRV Odyssey Pilot and Element

We love this tent! It fits onto the back of our Honda Element like a glove giving us a "living room" for our car camping adventures. It is a very heavy duty well constructed tent. The fiberglass poles are the thickest I have seen and all of the seams, grommets, straps, etc. are excellent quality and made to last. It's quick and easy for the two of us to set up and take down. We do it in about 15 minutes, and then unpack our gear right by pulling it out of the back right into the tent. What could be easier?Here's a handy hint: use a 10 by 12 tarp underneath it to keep the bottom clean and dry - it really helps if you are packing up early in the morning.

Finally got to use this tent last week and it's a real beaut! I picked this model because it came with an integrated canopy and could attach to my CRV if I wanted to (Haven't tried this last feature out yet). Extra features include inside mesh pockets, gear loft, and lantern strap. Can't think of any other feature that I would want. Plenty of room as tent is 10 ' x 10'. Must be close to 10' tall too. Easily holds queen air mattress and all of our car camping gear.Note that this tent is bulkier and heavier than most. Extra bulk/ weight comes from heavy duty "sock" designed to go around the back of the vehicle. Extra weight also comes from the 2 thick fiberglass tent poles and the 2 steel canopy supports. Would be significantly lighter if these poles were aluminum.

Very easy to install and detach an store in comvenient bag for easy transport. The spikes however bend easily when nailing them in to the dirt. It ist very tall, spacy, and roomy. With the vents on top you can easily get cool air in during hot summer camping.This is designed for our Honda Pilot. We have a Suburban and tested it there and they fit really well.

My 2003 CRV now has over 3.25 hundred thousand miles, and it's the best car I've ever owned. In my opinion, the tent is not as great as the car.The tent is easy enough to set up. And it is very big inside.However, I have not found any particular convenience in having my vehicle attached to the tent. On the other hand, it's inconvenient, if I need to use the vehicle. Also, the zippers are incredible prone toward getting stuck. A couple of times I've been trapped inside, and had to go out the second door, only to have the zipper on the second door get stuck. Maybe I'm zipper-challenged. But these are really difficult for me.I'd advise that you ask yourself if you really need a tent attached to your car. Even then, I think the price of this tent should be half or less, of it's current level. My old Coleman tent is bigger, just as good or better in quality, and it cost about 25 percent as much.

This is a quality made product. It fits our Toyota Tacoma nicely. Gives a lot of space. We sleep in the truck and use this as the storage, sitting area. Really needs to people to assemble. It exceeded our expectations. It will fit many vehicles not just the one it was designed for.

We have used this for camping. We have used it with and without our minivan. It really has worked well for us. Our queen size air mattress fits. And is relatively easy to set up and take down. I have no complaints.

Easy to set up (with two). Key to keeping rain from coming in is to make sure the sleeve going over the top of the car is pulled tight and doesn't form a trough right next to the tent. Stayed perfectly dry after we figured that out! Love having all that room.

This would have been great, but the product was damaged when we received it. Returned it. Would have been nice, because it was huge.
