Great value for non-pro use
I was a little concerned given the reviews, and not wanting to crack my counter. Debating getting name brand, debating getting one that went into my angle grinder. Don't worry about it.Used it on a quartz top, with my Dewalt cordless. Cut through in under 2 mins, super easy, took me longer to cut through the plywood base.I get that pros might want something durable, can't speak to that, but for someone wanting to cut a hole or two in their countertop, this gets the job done.

DRILL SLOW
LOW n Slow.. Drill slow and NO HAMMER DRill mode ( It will tear the bit up).. Drill mode only and this works good. Bit will get HOT as w(h)ell. So be careful. Comes with 2 bits (good thing)

Worked great at a fair price.
Needed to cut two 3/4" holes in porcelain tile. I was very doubtful that they would do but very pleased at the results. I used a drill press rather than a hand drill simply because I knew it would be very difficult to hold a hand drill steady enough to get the bit started. Using a drill press also made it much easy to spray water on the bit while drilling. I drew crosshairs on the tile the aligned the four slots in the drill with the crosshairs to assure it was centered. By using a slow speed and steady pressure the bit cut in an made a perfect round hole in the tile. I highly recommend these bits. Don't know how many holes may be cut with one bit but the 2nd hold went just as easily as the first.

Best value for the money around
I bought these inexpensive bits not expecting much from them. Had to drill two holes in 3/4" Quartz. I figured that 5 would the job done. Well, it only took 2 and, even then, thats really only because the Quartz piece got lodged in one of them and I couldn't get it out so I had to use another. The same bit could've cut both holes without missing a beat here.I doubt they're as good as the 40 dollar bits I see all over the place, but they're also a fraction of the price and work just fine. For comparison, my two used bits next to a new bit, as you can see both have some life left in them. The key, of course, is to keep them as immersed in water as possible and not overdo it on drill speed. I had them in an 18v cordless drill and wrapped plumbers putty around the cuts, which I filled with water. The cuts took a couple of minutes each but it worked. For less than $10.I would absolutely buy these again for any light duty stone project but I have a feeling I won't need to for a while since I have so many left.

They work, but, you get what you pay for
I got these for a plumbing project that involved drilling through some porcelain tile and cement board in a bathroom. They functioned well enough and cut a nice hole without much trouble. The reason for the three star rating is that the diamond wore away very quickly, even though I went slowly and used plenty of water on the first three holes.Started the fourth hole in a tight area and the bit caught. It did not snap, it bent severely, and I was not trying to muscle thru the cut. Used the second bit to continue and finish the hole. It worked well, but again, there was some pretty heavy ware on the bit.I knew that I was not purchasing a high quality bit at this price point. Better ones are far more expensive. I bought these as a couple time use and done kinda thing. I will be investing in a far better set in the near future. Like I said, you get what you pay for. If you only have a few holes to drill and don't want to spend much money then these bits will do the trick. If you are looking for something that will last thru many projects then invest in either a good bit or set of bits.
