It’s great. Light weight and easy to hold. I love this mug. So does my caregiver. It’s very lightweight and easy to use. It keeps my iced tea, ice water and sodas cold for a long time even in the summer heat. The handle is large enough for swollen hands. The wide flat bottom helps keep it from tipping or being knocked over. It’s easy to clean. I use a bottle brush with these old hands.I have the purple and the blue mugs, and plan to buy a red one too. No it’s not made for a car cup holder,but it’s just right for me. It’s not top heavy. I hope to buy more for family and friends for Christmas. Thank you.

The beloved thermal mug I've been using for four years finally bit the dust last week. After a tasteful Celebration of Life, I laid it to rest. I was broken hearted. The next day, after a short period of mourning, I purchased the same style mug from Amazon, which dribbled. I ordered a replacement with the same results. What the heck? I tried a different style which was also defective. I lost the will to live. Would I be doomed to use Dixie cups??In one last attempt to find a mug, I ordered two of these. They are large, purple, and the lids fit tightly enough to prevent dribbling. Yayy! I have no problem with the ridges on the inside of the handle (mentioned in another review), and I believe that the tiny hole above the handle (also mentioned) is where the insulation was squirted into the wall of the mug during manufacture.Amazon was wonderful about the refunding and exchanging process. Now my new mugs and I are going to enjoy a quiet, candlelit dinner.

My husband has been using these cups since the were produced by Aladdin more than 39 years ago and one could purchase them in any department store. A couple of his old cups have lost their seal and now sweat. Went on the hunt for new ones. Thank you Amazon!!!! You came through again. I suffered a bit of sticker shock when I compared the price today compared to the $3.99 I paid for each one 32 years ago. If these new ones I purchased last as long as a few of the cups I am replacing- I may never have to buy any more. I tossed the lids- as these cups do not fit in any of our vehicles. For use in the house or on the porch or work shop- no lid is required. Can go in the dishwasher- easy clean- nice surface finish. Keeps cold drinks cold for a good long time. We don’t use them for hot drinks- so I can’t speak to that. My husband likes what he likes and is thrilled he doesn’t have to get used to something different- he likes the comfort of his new cup because it looks and functions just like his old cups did.

Nice, high quality product. My only disappointment was that it is too big for my car cupholders.

I was looking to replace my 2 ancient Aladdin plastic 20-oz mugs that I have heated and drank coffee from for years, and it wasn’t easy finding ones that were BPA-free and microwave safe. So when I found these I bought one to try out. The only thing I didn’t like was that I could hardly get the lid off with my arthritic thumbs, so I heated it with some hot tap water, poured it out, and spent a couple of minutes repeatedly taking the lid off. Works great! So I bought another one (since one is always in the dishwasher). I use the mugs to heat and fix my coffee in to pour into my 20-oz Contigo which I use on my work table so that coffee doesn’t spill all over my work or carpet when my cat knocks it over. The plastic mugs don’t fit into cup holders, so that’s what I use the Contigo for as well. A perfect system.

I ordered two of these mugs and had to return both. First, the mugs are cheaply made and the handle is difficult to remove. Secondly, I am almost positive that I received two used and returned mugs. Both appeared damaged around the rims and the red one appeared to have been washed out and returned and the lid was slightly midsized and jammed on to fit. Removing it was extremely difficult. Terrible product!!!!!

Even though I'm a big fan of Tervis Tumblers, I LOVE this coffee mug. Tervis tumblers did not have lids for coffee mugs and this brand does. And even though lid does not have slide to close mouthpiece, I enjoy it more than cups I have with lids that have little slides to close top. (While driving I don't have to open mouthpiece, so I have quicker, safer access to coffee/iced water.). This large mug will not fit in car cup holders, but I wedge mine with pocketbook on passenger seat. I also have smaller version of this mug, same brand, and it fits in cup holder. Since it is hard plastic, it won't break or heat your hands like ceramic mug and weighs less than ceramic mug. It keeps coffee hot longer than styrofoam, glass or ceramic coffee mugs. I have no leakage problems or any problems with the lid, but I manually wash mine and have not used it in microwave.
