I like the "feel" of the aluminum case and the spring-loaded folding handle. However, there are SEVERAL things I did NOT like..!
I like the "feel" of the aluminum case and the spring-loaded folding handle. However, there are SEVERAL things about a case like this I didn't like or didn't care for. (1) The black anodizing of the outer surface of the aluminum case could definitely have been of a much greater "commercial-grade" (i.e, "industrial" grade) surface coating - i.e, harder and perhaps a somewhat thicker coating. The coating this case comes with is about as thin and relatively "low-grade" as you're going to find in the metal-products industry. It scratches easily. I use a black "Sharpie" type of felt pen to cover-up scratches. (2) Along with the first concern, the manufacturers of these cases could've put "resting pads" along the side of the case that you would normally place on a table - again, to protect the anodized surface from scratches as well as protecting the surface of the desk or whatever you place the case on. This isn't a "pilot's chart case" that's normally opened at the top - this is a briefcase that opens in the traditional manner. (3) The locking latches on either side of the handle are cheap! They seem to work well enough, but the key lock(s), as well as the keys themselves are a flipping joke! SHAME on the manufacturer for charging so much for a case like this and yet putting "cheesy, cheap-o" locks (& keys both - the keys are simple "skeleton" keys stamped out of thin sheet, low-grade steel...!!) on a $260+ briefcase!! I found these "features" literally appalling...!! (4) Lastly, but certainly not the least item of which I was concerned with, is the fact that as a "briefcase", there was NO "interior" whatsoever!! No "chart/map/important papers" folders, pockets, etc; with which to separate papers, other folders, photographs, graphs, or whatever items one would NORMALLY wish to keep separate from other items within the briefcase!! Just a closed-cell foam insert (what the hell are you supposed to do with that? If you're using this case to transport jewels, firearms, and the like, then the foam insert makes sense. But then there are a slew of metal cases out there (such as Pelican, etc.) specifically made just for those purposes!! This is supposed to be a BRIEFCASE - first & foremost - other considerations should be thought of as "secondary", in my opinion. And the interior "straps" provided (presumably placed in the case to hold down items to keep them from moving around while the case is being transported) are fastened down with little "squares" of - and get this - VELCRO (also known as "hook & pile" tape), of all things!! I'm sorry to have to say this, but just how cheesy & cheap can you get?? Anybody over the age of 12 knows just how cheap-o Velcro is - over not too many times of opening & closing, the tiny "hooks & piles" that make up this stuff break & fail - eventually the Velcro quits working & new patches would have to be cut to size & sewn or glued in (presumably with contact or rubber cement of some kind - something that can be removed & replaced with minimal effort) and the process started over. It's almost as if the manufacturer ("Tokers") wanted to design a rugged, no-nonsense briefcase that at the very least looked good, but decided to save a few bucks by utilizing the cheapest components possible to do it. I'll keep it anyway as I can make use of it - the combination lock seems to work fairly well - do NOT throw out the little "multi-lingual" brochure that comes inside - the crudely-drawn "pictograph" will show you how to change the lock combination. And as far as that goes, it would've been nice had the manufacturer used a 4-digit lock rather than a 3-digit lock, but that was the least of my concerns. Would I buy one of these again or recommend these cases to others - as "briefcases"?? No, I would not. For storage cases to be used to carry or transport firearms, jewelry, rare coins, etc; it would suffice for the job. But there are MUCH better cases out there from other manufacturers that are cheaper in cost & will do the job much better, I think. The only thing this case has really going for it is overall looks, a nice handle, a foam insert for purposes of transporting expensive& rare items, and in my case, a size that allows larger documents to be carried without bending or folding in order to get them stored properly. I'm going to see if I can find a "replacement" insert that allows the carrying to papers, maps, photos, pens & pencils, & the like. In giving this case a "3-star" rating, I feel that I was being somewhat overly generous, to be honest! My initial inclination was for a "2-star" rating. My opinions & I stand by them!

Overall: Low Quality
Well, high hopes for this case. The case appears nice in the exterior is nicely designed. The handle soft closes and is very well built.TSA locks and the 3 digit lock is also quite nice. This does come with two levels of customizable block foam which is really great. Also included an egg crate foam fitted for the lid. However,Unlocking the case...the two clamp style mechanisms are not well built and feel cheap; Barely grabbing the unit into locking position.Keys for these locks are like a child’s key for something like a teen’s journal or something. The hinges are scary and feel cheap upon opening and closing. The picture shows a black interior. We are not apposed to another color, but this weird champagne sort of peach interior is quite odd.The interior is definitely very cheap and something you would find in a $40 briefcase. It’s hard to explain how cheaply built the inerior is especially with this odd color combination we received.Overall, there are only a few good qualities for this case and all exterior except for the customizable foam.Way too expensive for the overall package.

The Smooth as Silk Combi Lock & Latches .
I really like this 14 1/2 inch Briefcase its quite solid with a great interior leather multi items design to hold a smart tablet + phone & documents + shoes & jacket , The 3 wheel combinatin lock is really quite the the better of most of the briefcases out there But i have to Hugely Agree with a few buyers reviews ( The Keys are not what you may think you can see in the Advertisement Pictures the nice strong looking key is a world away from the Truth its an illusion they have one rounded side & thats because they have been shape punched & are a bit 'Embarassing Cheap' - you may bother with them as a little bit more back up to the great positioned Combination Lock ! After saving up for ages to be able to commit to purchace this Beauty i was torn what to do next after a week it Grew & Grew on me i fell back in love with it again reason being Its the Cats Pyjamas & a very Sturdy Briecase with great Spec & Tech' (Hydrolic fold down handle) with lots of room inside . .

This briefcase has sharp metal feet that cause damage to anything it contacts!
The product itself is of acceptable quality, however, the feet are sharp metal feet that caused damage to my office desk, my kitchen table, my hardwood floors and my leather seat in my car before I realized the briefcase feet caused the damage. I took the briefcase to the garage to round-off the feet thinking they were plastic only to discover the feet were metal. I emailed to 'Mike Li' my concerns only to get this reply : "HI sorry. Late reply. You can DIY plastic at the corner. Buy a plastic support structure. " After paying over $250 for this briefcase the only solution he offered is to fix it myself. Please Mike, tell me where I can buy a 'plastic support structure'. Because of this issue as well as having problems with the combo lock I would never recommend this product.
