Great opaque flat, gorgeous glitter!
I'm not sure how this polish has such a low rating. A previous reviewer who said the color is thin must have gotten a bad batch. I purchased my bottle some time in 2014 as well, and it's fantastic. The flat color is practically one-coat opaque coverage. And the glitter is GORGEOUS. It's very subtle, so it can go over stamped nail art without masking the design, but it adds a beautiful layer of fairy-dust sparkle. The only reason my bottle has lasted so long is because I am reluctant to use it, lest I run out and can't replace it. (Oh, and also I have close to 300 nail polishes, so it takes a while to go through a rotation.) But now that I see it's available on Amazon, I'm going to buy a backup bottle (or several). Northern Lights is hands-down one of the best polishes in my collection.

Pretty to look at but......
My 13 year old daughter and I were excited when we saw the nail polish. I choose this color because it was pretty and fun for the summer. My daughter picked a black color. It was more money than I wanted to spend but I decided to splurge. I haven't used Revlon nail polish for about 10 years but I was always happy when I did use it previously. I prepped my nails as directed (including a base coat) and applied the first coat. The polish seemed very thin, almost watery and went on streaky. I hoped the second coat would apply and look better but no. I was stupid enough to think the sparkle coat would help it but no. My daughter hated it and threw it away.I would never recommend this to anyone. It"s overpriced and not worth the money. The only good thing about it is the pretty colors. I will stick with Sally Hansen and OPI when I need dependable nail polish.
