Truly Wonderful Product
Classy and Elegant.I got these for a family gathering. Didn’t initially know that these were called Palm Leaf Plates. I saw these plates at a local restaurant and started researching about them. The facts about these plates amazed me. I quickly wanted to use the small family gathering opportunity to try these out. I was a bit tensed until they arrived that they might mess up the event if they are not up to my expectations. To my surprise, they were amazing. It was a brilliant idea to bundle them with cutlery set. I loved it because I didn’t have to place different orders for both and it saved me a few bucks to be honest. Win Win for me!Pros: Strong, Clean, Pretty, Beautiful Patterns, Cutlery Set, eco-friendlyCons: A bit pricier compared to plastic or paper platesThey were so pretty and elegant. From starters to dessert I could happily serve all kinds of food on these plates. There was a lot of microwaving in the event but these plates supported so well. There was a little dry leafy smell to these plates when they arrived. As the seller mentioned in the listing I just opened the seal and let them sit for an hour. It was understandable as these are made of a leaf and no chemicals or synthetic materials were used. These are naturally pretty!If you are in the market for an eco-friendly or plastic/plastic free choice and you want your party to be special, then I would highly recommend you try these.

They were more like bowls than plates
I buy palm plates often for holidays etc instead of using paper plates. However, I did not like these as the plates were almost like bowls and didn't lay flat. They seemed like they were kind of pushed in a bit. Ended up not using them. The utensils were fine. It was actually a very good price for the plates and utensils, but as I didn't use the plates/bowls maybe not such a good deal after all.

Used for a family cookout
Used for a fall family dinner.The plates held up well and we had no issues even when they had wet food on themThe spoons and forks where better than any disposable ones ive used before.The knives are way better than any plastic and some cheap metal ones..Im sure you could wash them off and get a few uses if you wanted... but we tosed them into the fire to save cleaning time lol

Big and Strong
I used these 10in plates for a buffet style dinner when I was feeding a crowd and wanted the clean up to be easy/disposable. Lots of compliments on the appearance and function of both the plates and the utensils. I got the matching heart shaped bowls to serve cake and ice cream. Perfect!

Gotta get crafty with it.
It would get 5 stars all around except there was no where to put it at my dump and we didn’t feel like digging holes to bury it. Maybe wash them and use them to build a planter box? Idk but not easy to recycle in to the environment

do not use utensils. plates are great though
Great plates, but forks and spoons splinter in your food and mouth which you could swallow. Very harmful!!!! do not use utensils. Plates are worth a try but do not buy in a bundle.

Classy and Elegant!!!
I Loved these plates. They were strong enough to hold any food. They looked really beautiful with the natural patterns and most of my guests thought they were very expensive. They were shocked when I told them how affordable they were. Very satisfied with both plates and cutlery - will buy again.

Great Patterns, and Compostable
They are strong and extremely light weight. The cutlery set that came with the plates was very useful. Cutlery is strong and sharp enough to cut through the grilled meat.
