Great price and quality
So most capo’s at this price are plastic, I was never going to buy a plastic one as plastic gives up when least expected. So I kept trawling thru the listings and found this one. Yes it’s gold in colour but it’s not in your face, I could have paid another pound or two for a more subtle colour, maybe if I was gigging then I might want a more ‘manly’ colour but this is for home and quite frankly my dogs are colour blind so they don’t care.So it arrived, in a branded bag of good quality. The capo itself seems very solid and t(e spring is very very strong so there was no way it should slip off or not hold strings, the colour is even with no variations, no burrs or sharp pieces either. So to use it, covered the strings on both my acoustic and electric with no strings slipping out or buzzing on strum. I do have a Uke as well but I haven’t tried it on that as being a Uke it’s a lot smaller and the capo would be oversized, but if you want me to try it then raise a question and I will.So end of the day, great price, great quality, strong spring, could even pressure what’s not to like, ok it’s not a branded name but I am not a label snob.

Goo
For a cheap capo, I didn’t expect it to be such good quality tbh, but it’s a strong metal and it’s good material to use, personally I find it really good quality 💪💪 worth the money

As good as any
Just needed a basic capo that didn't cost much. Happy with it for the price and white colour matches my white tele, so looks good. I wouldn't say the pressure is very strong, just about right and easy to move around the neck. Would recommend. Should last a while as it seems as good as any other I've ever had and lost.

Great for ukulele
It's metal, the quality is good enough and very suitable for my ukulele, just 3 pounds, I couldn't ask for more.

Almost useless
These capos simply aren't strong enough for an acoustic with anything except very light gauge strings. The bar is also curved, resulting in the middle strings not getting as much pressure as the outer ones. As every guitar I've ever played has a flat fretboard (and every other capo I've seen has been straight), I can't imagine why they've made them curved. On my Martin acoustic especially, this results in the outer strings being bent out of tune, and the middle two strings not being pressed enough and causes them to buzz on the fret in front of the capo. On my Eko acoustic, with a bit of fiddling around, I can just about make it playable on the lower frets, probably because it has a thicker neck, but the sound of the open strings is quite dull compared to my adjustable Shubb clip capo. On my Tanglewood electric, which has light-gauge strings on it, it is playable and sounds fine up to about fret 4, but after that the action gets too high for the capo to push against and it becomes unusable.
