Excellent baby containment and not ugly
I was one of those people who swore I wouldn’t have a house filled with baby gear. Then I had a baby and had to get real! Once our baby started to roll, we knew we had to contain him. I panic bought this during the pandemic because we’ve been working from home and it’s so hard to keep a moving baby in one place. This is a very good size. Comfortable enough for an adult to be in the enclosure with a baby. It’s also very sturdy and I don’t worry about him pulling it over or apart. I like that I can see him through the screen very easily.A few notes:- it’s probably better anchored to the wall. Even though it’s sturdy, when it’s configured in the hexagon shape, it’s fairly easy for him to push the whole thing around. Granted, he’s not moving it across the room, but a few inches, especially if there’s something interesting like a shoe or a cat or some dirt on the other side of the playpen.- the door panel works best on an angle. I don’t know why, but when I originally had this configured in a u-shape with the door aligned to the panel next to it, it was hard to get it back in place. Now that we have the hexagon, the door clicks into place easily.Overall I would recommend this as both stylish (enough) and functional.

Higher quality than expected, perfect for our use
From reading the reviews, I still wasn't sure what kind of material the mesh panels would be nor how sturdy. The mesh panels are actually exxtremely tough and taught so baby cannot push them out and yet they are not abrasive either so i don't mind when she explores the material by caressing them or leaning her head/body against them. The panels actually come with two sets of wall mounting brackets (four plastic brackets-u would screw in two on each side and then insert two of the panels), and although none of the reviewers have provided photos you could set the gate up as one 7 foot long wall. There is an easy to use pull up gate which turns red when unlocked, it doesn't drag on the carpet and seems fairly durable. The fencing itself snaps into various angles so once it's set up in the orientation you like, the panels are harder to move, they don't just swing open. I have a 25 lb 8 month old and am not worried at all about her moving the panels or tipping it over. Right now I have it set up in our living room in an almost hexagon, with one open section against the seating portion of the couch so I can sit inside with her and work on my laptop at times and lean against the couch.I waited a couple months to see if we really needed one of these and then hesitated on the price, because you can find plastic gates for around $60 and it seems pretty pricey. However, I think you really get what you pay for. The wall panel playstation is perfect for her age and the higher up toys will be even better once she starts standing. , which again I now feel confident about her taking some topples since she would just land mostly against mesh or nylon covered plastic tubing instead of hard plastic. Lastly, she hates being put in her crib because it's harder to see out, but she doesn't seem to mind the mesh so much, which makes my life much easier.

Game changer during quarantine
My husband and I needed a way to safely contain our 11 month old while juggling work, childcare and pets during quarantine. This is the perfect solution. It is large so provides plenty of play room but also folds flat so we store it away against a wall after bedtime to get our living room back. It’s portable and lightweight so easy to move around and provide a varied play area. The sides are easy to see through (kind of like pack n play material) and the frame is sturdy powder-coated metal. The colors are muted and patterns are cute - far from the eyesore play pens I desperately wanted to avoid. Everything we were looking for! Construction, design, and easy storage make it well worth the price tag.

Great quality, super easy!
I love love love, this gate! Set up was easy, it comes packaged with 2 panels at a time (6 total). Setting it up was easy as well. Has the option for wall mounting if you are using is as a gate. Is a great size for a play pen, and easily portable for on the go. The play pad that hangs could be sturdier but is sturdy enough that my 9 month old can yank and pull one it doesn’t pop off. Overall this thing is worth the money, in my opinion and would highly recommend this purchase!

Surprisingly a great play pen!
I usually don't write reviews, but hopefully this helps others. I have other skiphop items and when I saw this play pen I fell in love, not so much with the price. I ordered it anyway. Assembly was easy, but they come together in the box, so the "taking apart" process was hard for me, but I'm also a small female. The instructions suggest to not assemble in a rectangle, but that's the reason I liked it because it fit my space perfectly. The frame is very sturdy and the mesh is amazing! One of the panels is a door, which is pretty cool. My baby loves it, he can see me through the mesh and doesn't freak out. There are gaps between the panels, but they are huge, so arms and legs won't get stuck, but obviously keep an eye out. Love the color, the mesh, and the extra toy. Spent weeks looking for something that fit our needs and this one was definitely it.

Great for apartments and cats
My 8 month old is becoming more mobile so I needed a safe place to put her in our small living room... baby proofing the whole area wouldn't work for us (lack of storage here so things are everywhere). These gates are excellent because you can change the size and shape easily. We plan to move to a bigger place soon, and then we will be able to use all 6 panels. It took me forever to find one I like online and I'm very happy with my purchase. Baby loves the toys on the side, and the cats don't play with the mesh sides like they do with the pack and play. The mesh is so tight and sturdy I thought it was wire at first.
