Variable Adjustable Lab DC Bench Power Supply 0-30V 0-10A -US Power Cord

I’m just a tinkerer, and I needed something safer than the way I had to use 2 cars ,2 sets of jumper cables, clamp on to screwdrivers just to get 24V. So I’ve been using this power supply for about a week it does everything I need and I haven’t broke it yet, even though I have melted some wires, trip some breakers , but all in all I’ve had lots of fun and I’ve learned about electronics, Only regret is I wish there was someway to reverse the polarity, without having to switch the wires around maybe there’s something for that?

The power supply works, but seems to have some problems with the power switch. Sometimes when I turn it on, there is no power at all or there is power but no controllable output. The switch has to be toggled a few times to get it to work properly. I may have to return the unit, because clearly there is something wrong that will affect its useful life.

I have to revise my opinion of this power supply. I now have an oscilloscope. The voltage output has a high frequency ripple every 17.5 microseconds. The ripple is +- 0.75 Volts about the set voltage output. see photo. This definetly would not work for any sensitive circuits.before buying the oscilloscope I like the power supply in general.The on/off power switch is flakey. Sometimes it does not work. Have to hit it several times before it finally powers up. At this time I am assuming it is the switch and not the internal circuit.

There should be a switch to determin if control is under current or voltage priority.
