Definitely Not Gaviscon
Works well enough, and the mint flavor is inoffensive; however, I prefer Gaviscon, because it forms that protective foam barrier which prevents reflux, and Acid Gone does not seem to do that. Also note that the dose is 1 Tablespoon (3 teaspoons) compared to 2 teaspoons of Gaviscon, so you're using more product per dose.

Great!
Tried the real stuff, Gaviscon, but the price lead me to look for an alternative. This is the second time Iโve purchased Acid Gone and I canโt tell the difference between the 2 & for the price, this is my chose! Thumbs Up!!

Only antacid my mom will use
My mom has suffered from acid reflux for the last 60 years-- She's 96 y/o. She used to use Gaviscon but found that the Acid Gone not only worked as well, but was less expensive. She has been using Acid Gone for at least 10 years if not more. Her local Pharmacist used to carry it, but no longer can. So, I went online and found it for her. I buy 20-30 bottles at a time for her. I will continue to get it for her for the rest of her life!

Excellent substitute for GAVISCON REGULAR STRENGTH liquid antacid
Hard to find Liquid Gaviscon in the regular strength dosage. The generic ACID GONE ANTACID liquid ingredients are virtually identical to Gaviscon regular strength. Seems to provide the relief I require and have expected from the name brand.

Just buy the name brand
This is a great price, but it's only a good deal if you can use it. I could only stand swallowing it twice. It's hard to describe, but this stuff tastes like bandaids smell, and it stays in your mouth/sinus area afterward. The weird chemical smell/flavor made me gag. I wound up not using it and buying the name brand Gaviscon instead.
