Love these socks!
I like the texture, color, support, and quality of these socks. This is my second pair and love them for hiking and drugging. The compression fit is just right not too tight but tight enough for much support.

Great compression and good look! Worth every penny!
These socks held up to a Spartan Beast run in WV and held several protein pouches without popping the whole race. Highly recommend! They’re very hard coming on and off while wet so I’d recommend leaving them on for swims. They didn’t chafe at all with my Solamon speedcross 6 shoes and I had zero blisters at the end. Great apparel!

Glide-On Glide-Off, Stays Up, Top Quality, USA
Average male height, average weight, semi athletic, regardless if age, these athletic type socks are the absolute best of 10 different brands I have tried over the last several years. they are built tough, yet flexible & not stiff. Comfortable & non-toe squeezing with thick enough foot pad to wear alone yet not so thick that sometimes I wear an extra thin sock on top in special situations.Amazingly targeted support for different areas of the leg that are completely affective and noticeably leave my leg refreshed. no bruising or gapped compression areas. Nice & uniform refreshing support on foot, ankle and calf. They are long enough to fit a man's leg & comfortably stay up all day. Somehow the combination of weave and material in the socks keeps them up all day Hot or cold rain or shine no matter how active. They are also the easiest sock I've ever had putting on & taking off,..& don't squeeze my toes, feet or legs like sausage! I think there is a video & the key is pinching the heel area to first put on the foot portion and then simply pull leg portion in position unfurling the rest of the way up leg up and inch or two below the calf.it is a true & comfortable 15–20 compression unlike some socks which are loose as a goose or overly stiff and tight. Quality construction. The coloring and mix of subtle design features is a touch of class and very functional making it easier to put the sock on. take a few moments to follow directions and learn the trick. It will forever change how do you put compression socks on.Very unique to this sock tasteful design coloring in the heel and on the front of the sock that allow you to position the sock exactly facing front as you unfurl. No more getting your sock sideways on your foot or pulling it on your foot too far or getting it sideways on your calf and shin! No other sock I've tried has this excellent helpful feature.I never put the sock through the Dryer and instead allow them to air dry which protects the fabric and longevity.all other socks seem to dry out skin on my leg causing sock to collect leg dander that I can see when removing. This sock does not seem to cause that drying at all which allows me to wear the socks for a longer period of time without causing skin issues. There are other advantages too numerous to mention like a nice soft, tailored but secure top that helps keep the sock up without overly pinching veins behind upper calf under knee. The nice pre-curved shape it looks like the profile from the side of your leg and the curve of the calf. I'm sure this is One reason the sock stays up thru exercise or under long legged pants that often rub compression socks down from the knee.Last but not least, made in the United States of America in the mid-south. Great 25$ value!Bottom line: earns *****Five Stars*****

Super comfortable and effective. These socks stay put!
Excellent socks. Super comfortable and very effective. They stay in place perfectly. Wore them for a 12 plus hour Spartan Ultra Beast and never needed adjustment. The only reason they didn’t receive five stars is they’re expensive and you need to be very careful putting them on so they don’t rip. They fit that snug, which is really what you want, just be careful so you can wear them multiple times.

Great product, better customer service
I do not normally do reviews but am making an exception in this case.I ran my first Spartan race in April (Mountain Creek Beast), and trained / ran in these socks. They were comfortable, fit as expected, and really helped on the course, especially with the traverse and rope climb, no inconvenient/painful rashes for this boy. Plus the socks look really badass, the other Spartans I chatted with wearing these socks loved them as well. And they drain really well, so they don't retain water. So I ran the Tuxedo sprint on Saturday, wasn't able to train, I pulled the socks out of my drawer and noticed the heel was worn. It probably was from rocky residue getting into my shoe, but I was bummed - it meant that the socks would probably have lasted only for Tuxedo, then into the garbage.Given the intense pounding these socks took from the race and my training, I figured this was normal. I emailed Malko, the owner of MudGear, to let him know.He IMMEDIATELY responded and sent a replacement pair, no questions asked (aside from wanting to see a pic of the sock, totally understandable). I got the new socks the day before the race, and they held up amazingly. All I can say is, based on the quality of the product, the responsiveness of the owner, and the willingness they have to stand behind what they sell, you should not hesitate to order a pair of these bad boys. I am beyond happy with MudGear, I will definitely order from them in the future.AROO!!

Liked the a lot
Excellent socks. 5 mile hike over moderately rough terrain. My feet were comfortable in these socks, and not over heated even though the temperature went up into the high 80s F

Highly recommend for mud and runs/obstacles courses
I purchased these for my first mud run that had obstacles. It was a 5k that had mud pits, swamp areas, deep streams to cross, tunnels and nets to crawl through and under, walls we had to climb, etc. (You we’re going to get dirty in this one.) I lost a show in one of the swampy mud pits and stepped in the mud with these socks. I retrieved mg shoe from the mud and put it back on. Even with mud and water all over my foot, I n we got a blister or any discomfort on my muddy foot. These socks are quality and have not torn and did not shrink after being washed (I did hang dry them). They provided the support and circulation that a good quality compression sock provides, plus extra comfort and cushion in the toe and heel. I would highly recommend these socks for mud runs or even longer regular runs. They are thinker than regular compression socks but still fit in my normal size tennis shoe.

WORTH EVERY PENNY
The Sox are amazingly awesome!!! The quality and the comfort is UNMATCHED to any other brand. I put them on and bought another pair the end of day. I bought a size small and wear a 5 1/2-6 size shoe as well I am only 5ft even and they fit perfectly and can stretch more I’m sure. The band is perfectly designed and NEVER falls regardless the length of wear. Do yourself a favor and BUY them knowing they will save you from buying the others not worth it multiple times in the long run. VERY HAPPY LADY👍👍👍

Very good, though expensive
Used for a 21k Spartan race. Very good, comfortable and dried quickly. But expensive.

Great socks
Love the product but the ones I bought started to rip within a year of purchase. I only use them for high energy sports mainly dodgeball and if they can go through worse then I am shocked that they are falling apart now. Either way they are great compression socks they helped my feet and legs alot even slightly ruined they are doing their job just a question of how long they'll last.

These were perfect for my spartan race
These were perfect for my spartan race, tough mudder and other smaller mud OCRs. I use the same pair (after thoroughly washing the mud out) for all of my races because I never felt my usual foot pain at any point in my races. Definitely a good pick-up, worth the price! I used a medium for a size 14 inch calf (and 13.5 on the left because of an injury) and both legs felt supported. I love the extra padding on the sole of the foot and along the back. My only complaint was that they didn't have the grey/black or orange(looks like red on my computer screen)/black socks in my size. I'd love to buy another pair but they are currently out of my size.To help you with trying to find the right size, I'm 5 8 but i don't think that matter too much for the socks; I am usually a size 8.5 (US) for athletic shoes because I like the tighter fit and usually take a wider shoe if available, otherwise I use size 9 (US)I also paid $46 for them not really worth it for the current $89 (or whatever) price. If they sold 2 pair for that price maybe but not for one pair.

Tolle Rennsocke
