Bought this play kitchen for our 2y9m old kiddo. It comes in a largish flat packed box and took a little longer to build than I anticipated. Definitely over an hour was spent putting this together. However, the end result (can only speak on the parts and pieces we got) is a sturdy, well constructed kitchen with a sink faucet that lights up and makes a dripping noise, burners that light and make a boiling sound (with a switch to turn off if you want silent play and to preserve the battery), and ice that falls through the dispenser. As an American living abroad I probs appreciate the ice function more than my daughter.This kitchen caught my eye more so than others because it has the ability to store a lot of items - cutting back on my need to house foods, utensils, pots and pans on a shelf somewhere else in the room or within a large unsightly plastic container that takes up extra space. You can store toys in the included soft, foldable fabric boxes on the two middle shelves, inside the fridge that has two shelves, within the oven or the 'food warmer' cabinet. The beets and carrots that go in the 'window baskets' are constructed of heavy wood (not plastic) and have velcro separating sections so that kids can use the play knife (included) to chop up veggies before serving. I was worried about the price point and whether the quality of the materials would be worth investing in given this item will get heavy use. However, this product is so much better in quality and more sturdy than any other kitchen I have seen in Smyth's Toys - the commercial toy store here. It also isn't as much of an eye sore to look at in the room compared to other products I've come across.

Straight forward to build, girls 3 and 6 love it the older girl playing with it all the time they like all the features especially the gurgling tap

My 2 year old received this for Christmas after much research on my behalf.Style-wise, it is perfect: not too girly, not too masculine, but actually looks like a proper kitchen and fits in well with our home decor. Way better than any of the gruesome pink, red or horrid ikea designs!Santa made the mistake of assembling it after a few glasses of wine, so he recommends probably attempting to assemble it prior to having a tipple.It is sturdy and looks as thought it will last for some time!

Great little kitchen, we wanted something relatively compact (after having had a huge one with our first daughter)Also wanted something a bit interactive, so the sounds & light when turning on the water + the ice cube dispenser are greatVery pleased overall

Great for my little one solid wood. Also lights and sounds to make it seem more real. My 3 year old daughter loves it. It did take me a coulle of hours to put together however all the items had numbers on them so the instructions were easy to understand without too much guessing which piece is what.

The media could not be loaded. Got this for my son for Christmas. Bought when it was on offer in October, when it arrived I double checked all in the box, just to be sure as we purchased it earlier than we were going to build it. When we went through all in the box we were amazed at how brilliant the quality was and everything was so brilliantly packed, everything checked out ok so we put away until we brought out tonight to build, still loved everything about this product and the quality it amazing BUT I am so disappointed by the tap. It doesn’t work, I went back into Amazon only to find out I can’t contact the seller, very disappointed for my son come tomorrow morning and not sure who to contact about the faulty tap or where to get a replacement!!

Got this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. She loves it! Highly recommended.

Nice kitchen, took my husband 2 hours to build it. It only came with one basket (instead of two), so there’s some missing parts… which is frustrating, considering it isn’t cheap!
