My oldest daughter (a picky eater!) recently started school and I was using a knife to cut fun designs into foods for her. After a couple weeks of spending far too much time on making lunches, I decided to invest in this set of cutters. I love that they're metal. I saw a ton of plastic options, but I was worried they wouldn't be strong enough for things like carrots, apples or meats. These definitely work for those foods. They're also very easy to clean. I toss mine in the baby basket for the dishwasher on the top rack. You can't tell from the pictures, but they're also "hollow", so if a piece of food gets trapped in the cutter, it's not a big deal you can just stick your finger or a skewer through the top and push it back out. And of course, my daughter loves it! I still get to surprise her with a little extra fun in her meal without spending all the extra time! I definitely recommend these! The shipping did take about 2 weeks, but it was worth the wait!

These are adorable, but pretty small (a little bigger than a nickel).

The yellow covers save my hand when pushing down and cutting hard raw veggies like carrots and bell peppers.

Happy with my purchase. I was glad that these veggie cutters had a handle and the shapes are fun. I do wish they were dishwasher safe, but they aren't difficult to wash. I made mini matcha cookies with my daughter the day I got them and the cutters were the perfect size for her little hands. The handle made it easy for her to see which side goes down to cut. I also plan to use them for cutting fruits and veggies for school lunches.
