Light Grey ~600-800 grit
I bought these based on the below chart I found online. They seem to scuff up aluminum somewhat, but I think I still prefer sandpaper for now for prepping metal. That being said the product itself is great and appears to be authentic scotchbrite pads.SCOTCHBRITE GRIT CHART:3M Scotch Brite Nylon Pads:7445 - White pad, called Light Duty Cleansing - (1000)7448 - Light Grey, called Ultra Fine Hand - (600-800)6448 - Green, called Light Duty Hand - (600)7447 - Maroon, called General Purpose - (320-400)6444 - Brown, called Extra Duty - (280-320)7446 - Dark Grey pad, called Blending Pad (180-220)7440 - Tan pad, called Heavy Duty Hand Pad - (120-150)Green Scotch Brite is available EVERYWHERE. It's 600 grit.Blue Scotch-Brite is considered to be about 1000 grit.

Used it to remove a sscratch in my stainless steel refridgerator.
Got this today. Was able to remove a rather large circular swirling scratch from my stainless steel refrigerator in about then minutes. Just lightly sanded in the direction of the grain (one way only) and then used a little stainless steel polish. Looks great. Highly recommend. Oh, you need to make sure your appliance is stainless steel without a coating. Because this will remove the coating if you use it and it's not 100% stainless steel. I believe, they sell a test strip kit. I just took a chance and assumed at the price point mine was all stainless.

Large size
You can cut the large pads to your size. Of course 3 M quality. Very useful

Worth the money
These are cheap in price and for the amount you get it's so well worth it. I bought these grey ultra fine pads to remove some scratches from some Invicta watches that I own, and let me tell you, they work wonderfully well if you know what you are doing. Please use these on brushed steel and not polished, for polished metal you'll need another product. Overall this was well worth the money for the amount of pad you get!

Works well
Works well for gently removing light scratches on real stainless steel.

A must have for paint prep
These scotch brite pads worked great when i was paint prepping my car for paint. My car was having a bad case of clear coat flaking so i decided to reclear cloat it. So i picked these up and cut them into quarters and started started sanding. The photo is right after i sanded and used wax/greese remover. I would definitely pick up more next time i do any automotive painting.

I am already using these and they are great. I cut them in fourths
I am already using these and they are great. I cut them in fourths. Fits my hand perfectly. I was able to remove a streak from my stainless steel refrigerator, caused by sometimes striking an open cabinet door knob. It looks like new. If you attempt a similar project be sure to rub with the "grain" of the brushed stainless steel.
