Bought this to replace a connector on a Volvo C30 that has melted and been replaced two times. The overall design and material of the original connector is just bad. The originals just simply cannot stand the heat generated by the halogen bulb. After 2-6 months they just get brittle and crumble, leading to failure, so the idea of making the connector of ceramic seems to be a good one.The HUIQIAODS H11 H8 H9 881 880 High Temperature Ceramic connector seems to be mostly well made. You will notice it is of a little lighter construction than the original, but maybe it doesn't need to be as heavily made since the ceramic should withstand the heat better than the original. The wire is of lighter gauge than the original, but not so much so that I expect it to be a problem. As others have noted, at the point that the wires pass through the ceramic, there is no sealant. On some vehicles this might be a problem if the connector is exposed to the elements, but in my case, the entire connector is sealed in a waterproof headlight assembly.One thing to keep in mind, this is the connector only. No installation supplies at all as some of the other ones have. You'll need either butt splices for your gauge of wire, or you should plan to solder the connector wires in place as I did. You'll also ideally need some heat shrink tubing to protect the area where the connector was spliced in, or at least high quality electrical tape like Scotch 33+.Only had this installed about a week, if long term durability turns out to be a problem, I'll update this review, but for now, it seems to work as it should.

As others have noted - the ceramic on these is pretty fragile - I broke one (doesn't take hardly any pressure !) attempting to fit my old bulb H11C to this connector - got new Sylvania extra vision bulbs with a narrower connector divider- and they work. Headlight back working - yes, I will order another set to get the second one needed to change my other headlight bulb to a new extra vision as well. The ceramic should insulate the bulbs better and stop the over amperage plug burn out. Not many ceramic choices available. They work, just beware, and new bulbs are most likely mandatory!

Je suis un peu déçue du produit, car j'ai préféré acheter ceux-ci, car ils sont plus résistants que ceux en plastique, mais à la réception du produit, j'en ai un des deux qui était endommagé. J'ai donc utilisé le second et il fut très difficile de faire rentrer l'ampoule dans le socket. Pour l'instant, ça fonctionne bien, mais si ultérieurement je dois changer mon ampoule, je ne sais pas si je vais être capable de la retirer de ce socket.
