Good item, helpful seller
This antenna works perfectly with my circa 2000 Aiwa stereo. I cut the metal off and stripped the tips of the plastic tubing so that I could insert the wires into the stereo's FM receiver clamps. I can now receive the expected amount of radio stations which I wasn't getting before. And a special "thank you" to the seller who answered my questions quickly.

Good Antenna, Poor Balun Transformer Matchings and Flimsy Screws - But there is a way!
Ad says it is for 75 Ohm Antenna Coax inputs on receivers, but RF Coax is usually 50 Ohms even though the connectors look identical. However many consumer receivers use 75 Ohm Antenna inputs. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the black Balun (300 Ohm Antenna to 75 Ohm RF Coax) Transformer is not built properly and makes the antenna work less effectively than if your stereo had 300 Ohm input which doesn't use a Transformer. The screws on the Transformer are such poor quality they are stripped from the get-go and won't hold the antenna leads in place. I put a bit of solder on the screws/antenna lugs/contact pads to hold it all together. Radio Frequency items, like a Balun Transformer, MUST be made with proper ferrite cores with the proper wires/turns/matched lengths to work properly... from photos from others, this is not the case.... the Transformer supplied is "crap". Even it was designed for 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm, it's isn't close to either. There is still a trick that I knew might work with the poor Transformer: Solder the two Antenna lugs to the Transformer, then tuck one wrap of electrical inside the Transformer's coax connector so the sides will not make contact with the threaded part of the Coax Antenna Jack on the stereo/receiver. This still makes the center contact (tip) wire to make a connection, while the tape prevents the other contact (the ring) from making a connection. This creates a capacitive "phantom ground" and it will match the impedance to acheive a VSWR of about 2.5:1 and thus the Antenna with pick up most moderate to strong stations - only very weak stations may be noisy. The Transformer is so impedance mismatched (estimated to be 5:1 - I don't have a Vector Network Analyzer handy) even strong stations can't be picked up from the Antenna. So try the Phantom Ground trick, or, if you need the very weak stations, find a good 300 Ohm to 50 Ohm Coax (or 75 Ohm if that is what your receiver requires) RF Balun Transformer with many (100+) good reviews (4.5+ stars) - it should only cost about $5 USD. But for the Antenna alone, this is not a bad price. I gave it 3 stars only because I had a trick that worked.

Works well
Added to stereo in my basement. Used command hooks to hang on the top of the 1 ft thick concrete walls. and had the antenna installed within a few minutes. There was no FM reception without the antenna but after, all my favorite channels came in crisp and clear. Very happy :-)

It work perfect

Cheaply made
The balun was so incredibly low quality. I got it to work, but I am afraid if I touch it, it will fall apart. The screw connectors are loose and pulling out with the most minor amount of force.

Good: Connected to SONY Home theatre and working well. Dislikes: (1) It is exorbitant pricing. (2) Antenna Cable is shorter than expected.
