The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister (The Bromance Club Book 1)

Cute, romantic story
Although his name kept me picturing Dracula, I really liked Bram's character. Jules not quite so much. She was too analytical for me. However, it did seem like. They made a good pair. Rath was not a good brother at the end though.

cute, short read
Loving Meghan Quinn as an author. This book wasn’t as great as the Billionaire series I just read of hers, but it was still a cute rom-com of friends to lovers!

Hit right out of the park.
Bram is so funny you have to love him from the beginning. I would love having a man love me like that. The romance is amazing, the humor perfect, and the sex is HOT!!!!! What more could you ask for? Rath being on Bram's side was cherry on top.

***5 ‘Milkshakes & Tube Socks’ Stars***
***5 ‘Milkshakes & Tube Socks’ Stars***Ok. Question first?Who else winced while reading steps one through three??Anyone? Anyone?Cause I sure did. Because even I knew that the pitfalls could be varied and many and bring about all kinds of issues, but even as I was wincing I was already needing to see how everything played out with Bram and Julia and I wasn’t disappointed in anyway. I winced, I laughed, I rolled my eyes and I swooned as these two danced around and towards each other ~ slowly, Oh, so, slowly ~ and was kind of unhappy that there were no more words to read because I really wanted to spend more time with both of them and find out what else they’d be getting up to.I loved Julia and Bram. Julia is that compelling mix of shy, thoughtful sassy and snarky with a good dose of an extremely observant wallflower (most of the time). She finds solace in facts and logic, which sometimes blind her to the most obvious things and yet, she isn’t removed from the world or emotions, she just holds them at arm’s length. Bram is cocky and yet he owns it to such an extent that after awhile it comes off as endearing more than arrogant ~ though there are times where that line is very, very fine. He’s charming and intelligent and has an extremely golden heart that he shares with only those he calls his own.Julia and Bram’s journey to their HEA was a whole lot of slow burn/opposites attract goodness. Part of the fun was that while they were friends, they still didn’t KNOW each other, so watching as they truly got to know each other was a lot of fun. And though it was all kinds of slow burn, the chemistry between them was intense, so when things finally stopped being slow, it was all kinds of smexy goodness and just showed that they were a perfect match in every way. As for the roadblock in their journey, as far as I’m concerned they were both right and wrong. I saw both sides of the issue and couldn’t blame either for their feelings. Thankfully, they both figure things out and loved where they ended up.I’m a #fangirl of the author’s, and while I do love her more serious side, her RomComs are my catnip and this one was all kinds of awesomeness. From the way the story played out to the interesting situations that occur throughout the story to Julia and Bram themselves, this was a great story. But, the cherry on top of this sundae belongs to three of the supporting cast of characters. Roarke, Rath and Linus were kind of everything. These three brought so much to the story, I’m crossing my toes that they will be getting their own books down the road because I simply NEED more of all of them!~ Copy provided by the author via InkSlinger PR & voluntarily reviewed ~

Loved it, Laughed so hard
This was a sweet read that was a lot of fun I didn't realize I needed. I guessed fairly early what was going to be the main conflict but it was done in such an adorable way that I couldn't get mad. There was a paragraph, a statement made by a character, that pulled me out of the story and I know some will find offensive enough that I can't comfortably recommend the book to them and that cost the book a full star. Otherwise, I would have given it a full 5 stars.

Not my favorite
I’ve enjoyed most things I’ve read by Meghan Quinn, but this one annoyed me. Mostly because of the language. Language in books doesn’t bother me usually, but I felt that Bram’s vocabulary only consisted of the “F” word and the “GD” words. There’s a time and place for language, but every other word from his mouth is not it. Apart from that, the story was just okay. I thought both Bram and Julia were pretty annoying.

So good!
MQ is the queen of rom coms! Love these characters and the depth of their story. I love that he waited so long for her, I love her innocence but head-strong-ness. I love his protective qualities and his absolute humor. I love the banter and the friendships all around. Linus and Bram were so cool together lol ugh cannot get enough of MQ’s world. Each new book is a new adventure and experience. Thank you!

Loved Bram.. Not a fan of Julia's!
Where to begin with this review? I had to take some time after finishing this book to put my thoughts together, because I had mixed feelings on this book, mostly due to one character, but then I thought about it, and was like, Bram outshines Julia enough for me to give this book four stars!Bram has known Julia for 10 years, and she's his best friend Rath's little sister. They are complete opposites in every way, but for some reason, Bram has wanted her for what seems like forever. When he has the shot at getting close to her, he takes it, with the premise of using her dating service to find love. When I first met Bram, I wasn't so sure of him, but the more I got to know him, I fell for him. He's sweet, caring, funny, and so loving. He may have his flaws, but he's practically the perfect man. He'd do anything for the people who loves, and he proves it over and over again in this book. But when I mean Julia, I was definitely not a fan, and as the book went on, it became harder and harder for me to like her. She would seem to come around here and there, and then, boom, she'd go right back to being unlikable. She has her head so stuck in her ways, that she refuses to acknowledge what's right in front of her, and when she finally does, she finds every way to see how it could go wrong and it frustrated the crap out of me and I wanted to strangle her so many times in this book. Julia is definitely not a favorite character of mine! This book was sweet, funny, and endearing, and I truly loved the friends to lovers story line, I just wish that Julia was more likable, if she was this would have been a five star read for me. Bram is the ultimate book boyfriend, and trust me, you will be swooning throughout this entire read! But Julia... ugh.. I just don't know what else to say.. she just wasn't my cup of tea, but she made Bram happy, so it worked!

funny, sweet, sexy with a fabulous Bromance on the side
I'm learning fast that if I need a pick me up read, one to make me swoon and smile, Meghan Quinn is a go to author and this book has done just what I needed. I'm reading this series out of order (which doesn't matter at all), I read Bossman Bridegroom a while back and it was laugh out loud funny and made me want to go back to the beginning. This one perhaps wasn't quite as funny (tbh I'm not sure anything will compare to the pictionary scene in BB), but TSTDYBFS did still made me laugh and sigh happily, it was sweet, cute, funny and had some hot steamy times too.Bram was adorable, cocky (or is that confident) he may be, but he was sweet, funny, protective, gorgeous and determined. Now finally after falling for her ten years before at college, it was finally the right time to pursue his best friend Rath's sister, Julia. Julia (Jules) took a while for me to warm to though, despite her absolutely perfect name ;-) There were flashbacks to their college days, yes Bram was a bit of an a-hole frat boy but still protective of her and always tried to include her. She was shy, clever, nerdy but often seemed very dismissive of him so I wasn't totally sure what Bram saw in her. She grew on me but was a bit too pragmatic, relying on facts and figures instead of listening to her gut and heart. When she did listen she was like a different person. The Bromance between the three guys, Bram and Rath (in particular) and Roark was simply fabulous. Their banter was brilliant, so funny and crazy but they were a true brotherhood. I loved all three of them and am looking forward to Roark's book, he's an Irish conundrum ready to be unraveled to be sure.4.25 stars

BROMANCE and ROMANCE!
Hands down one of my best reads of 2022 😍I found myself in that horrible place of wanting to read the book at the speed of light because I was so invested in the story and needed to know what happened, but also dragging it out as long as possible so it didn’t end! This story had so much light and humour. The highlight of which was the epic bromance between Bram and Rath - god I loved these men together! I enjoyed their relationship so much I had to make a TikTok about it before I had even finished the damn book ♥️Ugh seriously.. these boys…..“Julia, I finally think I’m ready to introduce you to my other half, the man of my dreams, the shell to my pistachio nut, my best friend of all time, Bram Scott.”As well as the EPIC bromance, there was actually a wonderful romance between Bram and Julia. As we know from the title, our heroine is the sister of Bram’s best friend Rath.Their story started in college, which we get some flashback chapters of, but it just wasn’t their time. Bram stood back and waited for Julia for 10 WHOLE FREAKING YEARS!!! *swoon*He was her biggest champion, admirer, supporter, protector, comfort, and at times also her biggest annoyance. Bram was a man who knew what he wanted - and man did he really want his Jules - he stopped at nothing to get the girl.Honestly the characters were hilarious and I loved all of their interactions and strong relationships! When I say I highlighted the hell out of this book, I’m really not exaggerating.Bram has cemented a place on my book boyfriend list for life. I have a feeling that when I get to Rath, he’ll make the the list too 🙄🌟What I liked….🌟💕 It is relatively low on angst💕 Smart heroine with goals and dreams of her own💕 Supportive hero who never wants to stand in the way of his girls dreams💕 A brother who is supportive of his best friend and sisters relationship - I mean this is shocking right?!💕 All secondary characters. I have a soft spot for Linus too💕 Bram’s honest dialogue - his unfiltered dirty mouth especially!💕 How Bram brought Julia out of herself. They balance each other perfectly💕 The romance of it all!💕 ALL of the moments Bram made me swoon💕 ALL of the moments Bram made my heart beat that little faster💕 ALL of LOVE these two shared💕 Two characters who were undoubtedly meant to beLoved this book - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟’s and I can’t wait to read more from this group!

Perfect gooey romance
I recently discovered some new sweets in the shop. Skittles without the shells, the squishy stuff without the crunch. That's kind of how I would explain this book. It's the squishy gooey love stuff but without the outer hard shell of drama some books have. And that's not a problem, sometimes it's just nice to read a soft romance story. And this is a beautiful story, Bram has waited 10 years for Julia. 10 years after she said no to date him. And he's still hopelessly infatuated with her.I struggled to like Julia, here she has a sexy rich guy after her and all she's bothered about is what dating colour he is and whether they match or not. That really did annoy me, I know it was part of her character but if she was real I'd have slapped her and told her to wake up and see what was in front of her before she lost it.That aside I did enjoy the story like I always do with Meghan Quinn's books.

Another Triumph from Meghan Quinn!
Another triumph from Meghan Quinn,The story is told in the present with flashbacks to college, Bram met Rath in their sophomore year at college and become firm friends. Later when Julia Rath’s baby sister starts, to protect her Rath tells her to dress down. So, when Julia turns up at the Frat party unfortunately it has the opposite effect on Bram. After getting to know Julia, he asks her out which she thinks it’s a joke and says no.For the following 10 years he has been a good friend and protector to Jules, and then he has great idea to get closer to her. Bram loses a bet with his boys, the forfeit is to take Julia’s dating test she has created for her business.Little does she know Bram loses on purpose, so he can get closer to her. Julia fights all the way, and that’s when the fun starts. This is Meghan at her best, one minute your laughing then your knees go weak because Bram is so determined that Julia is his everything. This is a perfect book for the new year, uplifting, full of promise and great entertainment. I loved it, so don’t miss out start the new year with Bram and Julia you want regret it.

A total must read
Meghan is one of those authors that you know will deliver a great book. This book is no exception! This book is witty, funny, sexy, romantic and totally captivating. Julia and Bram are so perfectly imperfect together, they go together like peanut butter and jelly, like jelly and ice cream ... this is such brilliantly written story, the characters are great, believable and real. Julia is smart, nerdy and she thinks she knows what she wants and how to get it. Bram is sexy, arrogant, cocky and filthy rich, he’s ready to settle down and has one particular girl in mind, it won’t be easy but hard work and determination should help..or not. Join this two incredible stubborn characters in an amazingly captivating journey where they’ll learn things about each other that will make you go AWWW!!
