Great product at a great price

I installed this myself, so it can't be too hard. My one complaint is about the "brushed" design on the metal. When tightened all the way to prevent leaks, the outside ring and inside round stopper piece do not align with the design. The product functions perfectly, but the lines are off by almost 180 degrees. It bothers me to the point that I might eventually replace it with a solid bronze rather than brushed/rubbed bronze finish.

It’s not as hard to install as people say on the other reviews. I’m a woman without extended experience in plumbing and I did it all myself: 4 sinks. Because this doesn’t come with instructions first thing you have to know is to not put one of the white rubbery gaskets in the sink drain. It goes inside the drain, in the interior. The other one goes under the sink and then you tighten the nut. You also need 100% waterproof silicone and plumber’s tape. I also used 1.1/4 inch extension tubes and if your sink drain doesn’t line with the wall tube you need a form and fit flexible tube. I used the form n fit flexible P trap by Everbilt. I uploaded images with the products I bought in hopes others will have it easier and won’t need 3 trips at your local Home Depot. So far it works great and the leaks stopped by tightening the nut and using plenty of silicone

My old school type sink plug broke and was happy to find they make these pop up style for drains now and adapt to existing older sinks.My sink has the overflow hole in it, so I purchased this style to accommodate.It installed fairly easily without instructions. Did require my pipe wrench to remove old and tighten new one.I did need to purchase an extension piece separately as this wasn't long enough to replace my older setup. Some may not need to. It was $4 for the extension at local hardware store.It works great. Good seal. Easy to use and fairly easy to install.It isn't quite as dark "rubbed bronze" as my faucet, but not noticeable enough to remove and request return. Others may not even notice like I do. That small issue and the no instructions was the only reason for 4 star versus 5.

This came really fast and in very pristine condition. I had to return it because I messed up when I ordered it and didn't pay attention to the type, I bought some glass vessel sinks without overflows and didn't realize my error with these until they arrived, which, like I said, was very fast. I wrote to the vendor and they were very understanding and made it simple for me to return them. I'd definitely buy from this vendor again and wish I hadn't made the mistake, but I am very grateful to the vendor for taking them back and making it simple to do so. the oil rubbed bronze look of these is really great. they look beautiful, even if you only get to just see the tops once they're installed. really great deal for the price.

I really like how this pops up and down easy. Although the threads were short and I had to fight with the pipe to stay connected to the basket. Word of advice use lots of Teflon tape. Also it wasn’t supposed to need any Plummer’s putty due to the gasket but, I’m here to tell you it leaked if I didn’t and had to make a trip out to get some in the middle of the job. Now that it’s installed I like it but it’s made a little cheap and was not easy to install.

This is actually my third unit. The stopper mechanism has broken off on the previous two after about 2 years use.

We replaced 5 faucets and drains in our home. One of the faucets came with a matching drain and it was made much better than these drains which we had to purchase separately to go with our new faucets. While the drain does the job, it is not as nice as the other one we got. I guess you get what you pay for. Might want to consider spending a few dollars more for a more polished product.
