CasioMen's GA-100 XL Series G-Shock Quartz 200M WR Shock Resistant Watch

If you like Camo watches you’ll love this. After trying & failing to get this watch because of fakes sold on eBay I finally got it & the real thing is a beauty. It’s a good size & feels comfortable to wear. Easy to read the time too. The negative display may not be to some people’s taste but I can read it so I like it.

Comfortable and light (but not so light that it feels like a fake). Looks good on my wrist and goes well with a lot of my clothing.

For the record and to preface this review, I am a devout Gen X'er. A little over a year ago I decided to try and disconnect as much as possible from the digital world and bring more analog elements into my life. When I was growing up, I used to dream of the technology we have today and now that we do, I find myself wanting to go back to those simpler times; the days when we called people to talk to them, read maps to get around, just rolled with the punches and packed ahead in case the weather changed from how it was when we walked out the door, and when we looked at a watch on our wrist to tell the time.I have always loved the camo look ever since being a Cub and Boy Scout back in the '80s and wanted a nice military-looking watch that was camo pattern and durable, but being a shorter dude at 5'8" tall I didn't want one that looked huge and gaudy on my wrist. For the first watch I have bought in decades, this Casio fits the bill nicely being durable, good-looking and works well without breaking the bank.A friend had this exact watch in the Coyote Brown colour and I liked it so I purchased this one for myself. I bought it not only for the camo pattern but also for the analog hands and the amber LED light (it illuminates from the bottom and, thankfully, is not annoyingly bright). I am not concerned with the reverse digital display other than to set the watch and change features, but the one complaint I can see other people having with it is the display. They are NOT backlit the way other Casios like the Rangeman is, so unless you are in bright outdoor or indoor light conditions, the digital display can become hard to read at certain angles. In very low-light conditions indoors or out, it becomes almost blank.The band fits nicely and has decent adjustment (I never found it to be too tight or too loose) and has been holding up well to being put on and taken off a few times each day. I know I have read other reviews where people have their bands crack or break under what is claimed to be "normal use", but I have had zero issues. Much like anything these days, I think a lot of it has to do with just being careful and patient and taking those few extra seconds or so to slowly undo the band and move the clasp out of the way to take it off or put it on.My dream/forever watch is a Mudmaster G-SHOCK GWG2000CR-1A and I plan to have one in my possession within the next year or so, but until I feel accomplished enough to spend almost $1.2K on a hardcore military-grade wristwatch, I am more than happy to enjoy this camo GA-100 XL watch in the interim. My only wish is that they would make it available again because from what I can tell, it is no longer available for sale in the camo pattern.

彼氏にプレゼントして1年半経ちました。入れ物からカッコよくてずっと腕時計を欲しがっていたので凄く喜んでくれました。最初に自分好みの設定にしてましたが、説明書見て2時間ほど苦戦してました(笑)雨に濡れたり物にぶつかったりしてますが状態は未だに綺麗です！

デザインがとても気に入ったので購入しました。しかし装着2日目にして白い部分がオレンジ色に変色。調べると皮脂やホコリなどの汚れの場合洗剤等で取れるようですが、取れない場合劣化だということで消そうと調べて色々試しましたが消えませんでした。装着2日目で劣化とは‥悲しかったです。非常に残念でなりません‥
