101 Improv Games for Children and Adults

This book was purchased for my children’s theatre. It has many of the familiar Improv games and a lot of new ones all in one book. My teachers love it! Works well with kids on the learning spectrum too.

I’ve been an acting teacher for years and I have so many improv games memorized in my head. Sometimes Im in dire need of a new game, quickly to keep things fresh for my class. I loved this purchase. So easy to flip through to find something fast and there’s short bullet points for what you need, so your not sitting there reading 2 pages of lengthy directions during Summer Camp snack breaks . Easy to understand and my students love it!

I purchased this book because I recently started teaching children's theater class. Their ags range from 5- teens. I played the what's in your pocket game with the little ones and they LOVED it. This book is a great tool to have on your teaching bag.

Purchased for 8 year olds who love play acting and I thought it was something they could do without the help of a teacher/parent.Not what I am looking for.

This book is a gold mine of improv and characterization games to develop improv skills. There are easy, fun games to start, for children and adults. I love it!

It's very well written, easy to understand and has given my family some great ideas for creating fun improves together. You could easily use it to direct a group of children at a birthday party, too.A very good purchase.

Love this book! I went over the games with my daughter,who is on her college improv troupe. Many of the games are versions of what she played in high school. The instructions and levels are spelled out quite simply!

I taught an improv class for the first time to high school age students and this book was indispensable. The lists of games work for all ages and it provided my students with many choices each day.

There are some people who are great at improve and some of us who need more work and a book like this helps you remember those amazing games that helped you expand your imagination and also a great addition to any acting class. I recommend this book

I've used many of the activities for my grade 4 to 12 students. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. There are a good variety of types of activities and activities for different age groups of students. Overall I found my older students did the best with the activities.

I thought this would have more dance based I did not realise it was more drama based until I received it.
