Just like we used in our lab!
As I go through my life, I got to a point where it seemed like a good idea to use more sugar substitutes. One of my favorites is a Stevia powder, but it's very, very light and flyaway prone. With this excellent style of lab scoop, I can easily add my Stevia powder to a drink in a narrow necked bottle or shaker. This used to be almost impossible with even the smallest spoon, or even with folded paper, because static electricity caused the powder to stick or fly around. No problem anymore with these smooth, nicely finished steel scoops. Even ordinary granulated sugar is easier to add in. I had tried to find these in stores for years; glad to have some at last.

The scoopula!
This useful curved spatula is loved by waiters for cleaning crumbs off the tablecloth. I use it for delivering ground herb to the smoking bowl. Slightly thicker and heavier than the classic version used by chemists, but it’ll do.

lab spatulas/scoops
If you took chemistry or organic chemistry, you probably used one of these. I am using it to place loose powder incense on lit charcoal. The narrow "v" of the scoop helps place it precisely (vs. the plastic spoon I used before).

Poorly made
Stampings weren't finished well on the edges; which affects ones ability to measure smaller quantities.
