I picked these up because I have eliminated plastic containers for food. I have used some glass containers but they all have plastic lids so I require them to be hand-washed to keep the temperature down. These, I can come home and throw right into the dishwasher and not worry about toxins.The only real drawback to these is that you CANNOT put them into the microwave. At this point, I think everyone knows to keep metal out of the microwave, but I am surprised every day...I mainly use these for salad, putting the lettuce, cheese, boiled eggs, and such in the big one. I put croutons, bacon bits, and meat in the medium one, and the dressing in the small one. This keeps everything separate and crunchy until I am ready to eat. These bowls have not leaked with creamy dressing and vinaigrette dressings.It's also great that they nest when I am done with them and for storage.I have not tried the instant pot cooking in them, yet, but the idea is intriguing...

In general I'm very happy with these containers. That said, the would be improved by adding a small soft pad on the clips, since otherwise they cause all sorts of scratches on the top edge of the lid.

Not completely idiot proof though! Make sure your seals are lined up properly EVERY TIME.

A long time ago I ordered very similar containers from another company off Amazon and loved them, but unfortunately they are no longer available. I ordered these because they were similar looking to the first one's I bought. Sadly I'm quite disappointed in this purchase. The stainless steel is so flimsy I'd be afraid it could bend or burn, or eventually wear down. The inner silicone ring which insures freshness and keeps it "leak proof" falls out constantly and it's nearly impossible to put back in correctly. I actually glued one back in with super glue because it was such an issue. The lids seem a bit heavier than the actual container, but all in all, I guess you get what you pay for. I've seen more expensive products like this elsewhere and I'll order those next time. If you get really nice ones it does keep your food fresher longer and it's great for traveling with food, no spills.

Tested all 3 and definitely leak proof. The small one had an aesthetic irregularity on the inside where the latch is connected. No big deal. These only cost about a third of CVaults or Humiguard. The only differences: it doesn't include an Integra or Boveda pack and there is no bracket on the lid to hold them. Again, no big deal and still an excellent value. I only wish they made large versions.!

Nice size range and well made

Just received these items and I am very disappointed in the quality and size. Very flimsy and cheaply made. I am keeping them only because it is better than keeping plastic. I will use them only to store left overs they have no use otherwise.
