The Vegan II Jadon adds a fierce, chunky platform sole to the original 8-eye boot for 1 3/4 inches of pure empowerment. This boot retains all the recognizable Doc’s details, including grooved edges, yellow stitching and heel-loop, and adds an inner ankle zip for easy on and off. Best of all: It’s 100 percent vegan. Built to last, this unisex boot is forged using one of the finest methods of construction: utilizing a Goodyear welt and heat-sealing it to the sole. The Vegan Jadon II is made with synthetic material and sits on an AirWair sole, which is oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance. Use Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to protect the material and keep your boots clean, soft and supple.

Quality shoe!
Very comfortable and durable. It makes for a great, walking shoe.

Great shoe!
I've been wearing this brand since I was in highschool. If one polishes this shoe everyday, it'll last over 6 years. I'm not a trendy person. I like a shoe that looks smart and dapper. I have two sets of these shoes:set 1: for everyday work.set 2. to wear with my cheap charcoal 3 button suits.Polish them with a discipline of 'every other day' then these shoes will last for years adding to your smart & dapper look!

Good as ever
I have had Docs for about 35 years now and this pair seems to be just as well made as ones from 1990. I guess we will see if they hold up but everything is great at this point. And the fit is spot on.

I still love them.
I want to start of by saying I love Dr Martens. I’ve been wearing them since i was nipper back in the 12th century. Ok, times have changed and with it all social and geographical boundaries have been crossed and recrossed. Each new generation has claimed to be the true generation that will be wearing their 1460s while the revolution that was going to be televised was called off because no one watches cable anymore. Yes, quality has dropped and getting the inexpensive and unequaled quality bouncing soles that I used to buy, is as far away as the countries that these are now outsourced too. There are of course the more expensive made in England line which at a price duplicates the ones from my youth that were very affordable and didn’t involve having to sale your granny. As much as we hate the Chinese outsourcing just bare in mind that they made this move to avoid bankruptcy. So for the people that complain that they're not as good as they used to be, remember that you came pretty close to not having anything to complain about, other than your Vietnamese Converse. What most people don't know is Doctor Martens had a twin brother called Solovair which are still made in England at the Doctor Martens factory. Prices are pretty high but they're worth checking out.A piece of advice. I've seen some photos where the leather has split, but they also looked like they've not been cared for. Get some wonder balsam or equivalent and condition them often. They'll crease around your foot nicely and stay protected from whatever nature throws at them.

Dr Marten classics
First off I knew these were not made in England. If you want the English made ones you will have to pay about twice as much. I figured for the 85 dollars I would give the Chinese made ones a go. I no longer have any of my old UK made Docs to compare these too, but my first impressions of these is that they are very well made.I've only worn these shoes three times so far and just like all my previous Docs (UK made) and just like everyone has said, they take some time to break in on the heels. First night I actually wore them to a get together and stood up for more than five hours in them and they were extrememly comfortable. The next two days is when it started hurting on my heels, but they will break in, in due time. The overall craftsmanship is very good. They came with an extra set of shoelaces in bright yellow to match the yellow stitching on the soles. The inner soles are marked with the Airsole trademark but it started rubbing off after the third wear..ya no one sees it but me. I want to try and go to a local store and see some UK made ones and compare them..But for the price I paid for these I am very happy to have them. I plan to buy the cherry red color and maybe some of the 1461 boots in green.

Same Great 3 Holes.
Been Wearing 3 Holes since the early 90s,’ they’ve changed, these days they’re a bit lighter, no break in needed, and still shine right up.Fit great, wear just fine, great value for the time they’ll last, and never an issue with durability.
