Underrated and great value.
As an avid fisherman and gear head, I have way more equipment than anyone needs to have. This reel is not nearly as good as my metanium or my zillion, but it's not that far off. In fact I own three and they are on a few of my workhorse rods and I prefer them to my tatulas and sold or gifted my curados away because I kept reaching for this reel. It's very comfortable and reasonably light, casts as far as anything but my metanium, and has paired well with every rods I've tried them on. I currently use a 6.6 ratio for my chatterbaits, 7.3 for lipless cranks/square bills, and 8.1 on my jig rod. Happy with all of them, but my tatulas and the sv in particular perform better in very windy conditions. For the price I paid I couldn't be happier.

Okuma Helios SX Low Profile Reels! Lightweight & Casts Easy!
For those of you who think they know all "baitcasters", this jewel might've slipped through your radar. Right now if i need power for salt water jigging i use my SS Komodos. But if i'm hitting the shallows to streams & ponds this very light BC is my choice. I've owned many reels over my years of fishing from East to West coast USA & overseas in Asia. So far nothing comes close to replacing this unit. Really casts so easy! Fits well in my monster palm as well. Tying on line is a breeze with the open ports. When it comes to my personal units that i use this one is in there. I have it on my 9'6" Celilo for distance casting, or my Guide Select Pro for getting "close-in". At first i wasn't even aware of this units existence. Then my friend gave me his extra unit. What can i say? There's YT vids out there on these casters. Not many but enough to help you make your own decision.
