What is material of the back of the frame?

I have the 8 x 10 picture frame and on the back is an 8 x 10 heavy cardboard holder with a stand attached to it. My 8 x 10 picture completely covers this holder.

Will an 8x10 photo work in this frame?

What holds the backing in place?

The sides of the backing are attached to the picture frame and are not removeable. Your 8 x 10 picture will fit perfectly into the slot left open on the reverse side of the picture frame.

Frame is easy to use

This frame is perfect for my contemporary home. I used two for graduation photos of my children. You definitely could not hang this frame on the wall. I will say I had great customer service because the first frame arrived broken and they refunded my money immediately. It is super easy to insert a photo in the back of this frame. It just slips in.
