Pricey but the best.
Most definitely the best instrument cable I've ever used. My only problem with the company is they were supposed to offer a lifetime warranty on them and did not when I tried to return it to GC. Their excuse was this was the older version of the mogami cables well I don't think that should really matter because they've changed their design on newer ones so I had no choice but to buy a brand new one. I will say if you want the best instrument or XLR cable this is it although you will pay for it. Not cheap!!!

Hooray! No more high end frequency stiffness!
My amp heads are low power class A.. speakers are 1 Jensen 18Z Jensen 10 inch and 1 12 inch eminence "Lady Luck" they are segregated in another room with a good ribbon mike. When I record I the signal through my monitor speakers, I get a fairly accurate idea of what the signal will sound like when recorded. . I have 2 highly rated 14 which just made it to the Y connection. The cables I use are good quality and highly recommenced .. The guitar thats my "go too" guitar is an inexspensive re-issue of a Harmony Stratatone with 2 foil pups.. I do lots of Robert Nighthawk.. and tunes from Maxwell Street. To give you an idea of what the sound is like, get a sample of "Eli's" also called "lyin and Cheatin'" from Amazon mp3 on the higher frequency the tone is a bit stiff. I always thought it was the driver tube. Spent lots of bux on 12AX7. Well cut to the chase.. The Mogami has no stiff/strident high end instead its very musical.. I have to say I am very surprised and happy. I was always a Mogami "snob" .. thought in general the reviewers were going overboard a bit. Well, now its me gushing... Like many of you reading this I have quite a few guitars, and I admit I haven't used any of the others with this chord. It is smaller in diameter which had me worried but, must be a good match , the correct cable for the load.. I'll still use the other cables for busking because they sound real fine to a battery powered Roland Wedge I don't have a lot of bux.. but when I purchase guitar cable.. LowZ cable connectors etc.. thats where I I spend any money I can free up.. As you can tell I highly recommend this cable but its only based on one scenario.. All in all, it is very quiet, the highs are clear and even .. good mid and allows I get more "growl" .. My XRL to the recorder is fine quality but I am going to purchase a LowZ XLR for my ribbon mike. I'm happy with my XLR cable now.. can't imagine it getting much better, maybe I will be surprised ..

Love it! Once I started using Mogami cables with the silencer, I will never use anything else. These are high-quality cables.
