Audley Home 800 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton, 3 Piece Bedsheet Set, 18” Deep Pockets, Smooth & Soft Sateen Weave, 5 Star Hotel Quality (Navy Blue, Twin)

I am a stickler for high thread count sheets and I know when I’m being scammed by companies claiming 1000, 1500 and higher thread counts that are thin 200-300 thread count at best. I was somewhat pleased when I received the pillowcases here (I ordered 5 sets, purchased seperately). Only one of the long sides of the cases has a seem. This is excellent as it offers more protection and likely longer durability. Even my best sets have a seem on each side so these cases have now upped my game.Unfortnately, the embroidered stitching on the hem is yellow - not white like the case. It makes the case a little cheap looking, but I still prefer the off color over other hem types. Embroidered hems are just more durable, softer, and show no stich holes.The cases are thick and heavy with a sateen sheen. Unfortunately, after washing them I noticed some cases felt a lot lighter than others. They were also a little thinner. Thinking I must have gone crazy, I weighed them. The heavier cases were all 8 ounces. The thinner ones, exactly half my order, were about 5.5 ounces. Being that they were all the same size, it was clear half were a lesser thread count. It appears that each package contained one case that felt like my many other 800 TC cases and one that felt like one of my 600 TC cases. Normally I would return them, but the quality of even the thinner cases is still better than many of those “Amazon’s Choice” ‘1/4 of the advertised thread count’ sets and the price was decent. However, due to the inconsistent quality, I would not purchase this brand again.

Recently purchased a King Size set of the Audley Home 800 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton in Plum color for our new Hybrid Mattress. In comparison to other sheets purchased from Amazon, it was immediately evident by the weight of the package these were different. Packaging is simple and clean. After washing and drying (no fabirc softner or dryer sheets) changed the bed linens. The color held well and did not fade after 1st cleaning.The corner pockets on these sheets were deep and easy to fit our hybrid mattress. The top sheet was not short and also fit the bed very well - very nice and well done - Thank you!I'm rating the Comfort level of these sheets at 4 after one washing (again without fabric softner) due to the fact the sheets seem a little stiff, however, IMO that's a good thing becuase after several washings I'm almost positive the fibers will wear and relax a little.COMFORT = these sheets hug you with gentle warmth but the fabric breathes, not like many of the Poly*%@ sheets which are sold.Compared to other 800 TC Egyptian Cotton sheet sets which we might have purchased on sale locally, these were a little pricey, but we'll probably purchase another set when they go on sale - (HINT HINT).

Sheets are great and come as advertized. They are NOT like many of the imitators out there that tout "Egyptian Cotton-Like Feel" rather than being actual egyptian cotton. The fabric is hearty and not paper-thin like cheap brands. They are a bit on the stiff side, but are slowly loosening up after a month of frequesnt use/washes.The only complaint I have is about the top sheet. It seems that the style of weave used here leaves one side very soft and the other a but rough (think: way over-starched). That is fine for the fitted sheet because the top is the soft side. However, they also made the top of the flat sheet the soft side. This is not a big deal and I will definately keep using them happily because I invert the top sheet. The decorative fold at the top is on both sides and only a thorough scrutiny would find that it is on wrong. It's just a bit annoying.Fit is pretty good. I personally would like to see all top sheets be a LOT longer to keep them tucked in better, but I've not had too much trouble there.

I have to say I've washed these a couple of times and they are a lovely quality sheet. I ordered Ivory but they don't match any previous Ivory sheets I've purchased. They have a tinge of orange. That's okay, not that big a deal. The one and only serious issue I have is that the headline says fit an 18" mattress. The more you delve into these sheets you find they may mean the King are 18" but the Queen are 15". AND, they don't mean they'll fully cover the mattress, they just mean the corner pockets will allow them to fit the deeper mattress but it just won't cover at the sides. Well if they could even fit a 13" mattress without exposing the mattress at the side I'd have been happy but these don't. They would fit a 12" mattress and just cover the sides. As a result, I purchased a different brand 2 weeks ago from Amazon which easily fit my 13" mattress with tuck in AND they are Ivory....So I knocked 2 stars as the ad is misleading on size (as is the label which pops up on the search). The sheet quality is awesome, no complaints about that. Lovely and soft to sleep in. However, I'm sick of looking for Egyptian Sheets on Amazon and reading complaints about "They don't fit my bed"... There is at least one brand out there that DOES. This isn't it.

I love these sheets so much! For 800 thread count, you just can't beat the price and quality. Plus they're 100% cotton! I had bought another set from a different company that was microfiber; and they were just way too hot for boiling southern California. I was waking up soaked in sweat every morning. When I got these, they were so cool, comfortable and good quality I fell in love instantly. My only complaint is that these are a little more shallow than advertised. In the description, it says they fit up to 15" deep mattress; mine is 14" and they're about 2 inches short. They would probably be perfect for a 10-12" mattress; but I stretched the heck out of them and made them work ;-) They're just too cool and comfortable to sweat the small stuff.
