Romance

Utter rubbish .

The media could not be loaded.  The story about Marie and her relationship with Paul and how his neglective attitude to her sends her down a rabbit hole of self discovery and self destruction. This is an interesting tale with some matter-of-fact real sex scenes. If you are at all put of by these types of sequences, then be aware these are graphic sequences. Now as in your face as they are they serve a purpose to show the spiral of self destruction and how it leads to revelations about herself.It is an acquired taste but i enjoyed the film.

Let's call it what it really is: a chick flick. This is the first movie where I can say Traci Lords was credible as an actress. While not her most entertaining role, she did play it better than I had expected, perhaps a bit over done at times. Maybe she was just playing herself, with a capital "B." Once you get past the plot, i.e. please let me have your seed and I will publish your novel, the movie becomes entertaining as Traci Lords and Paul Johansson pull off some good chemistry.

No idea why these two people are together, better to be single than to be that unkind to each other. Aside from that it's very slow and incredibly pretentious. Strangely not very erotic. If you want porn better to just go and watch porn.

Really enjoyed this romance between two unlikely characters; bad boy author and attractive but bitchy editor. This is far from the standard girl meets boy story, the price of getting this book published is a baby (or to be more accurate sperm). As the film progresses the characters soften and common ground is found.This film had some great moments. I particularly enjoyed seeing Traci's character develop.The only thing I didn't like were a few edited in cheesy shots which in my mind cheapened the result.
