I didn't know what to expect with this, but I knew I needed what it said it did: something to break auto glass in an emergency, and something I could use as personal self defense. I thought about aluminum vs. stainless steel, opting for the latter because of weight and durability. Black or silver...I opted for silver because I felt I could hide it better and find it better. The shape is very easy to keep hold of, and I like the wrist strap idea, but not the one that it came with, with the logo shouting all over the place. It will be replaced with another one. As a key chain, uh, I think it is not so good as it is long and heavy, but depending on the situation, I might use it as that.The best thing about this, aside for durability and design, is that I feel confident that this will work in situations it is made for. I didn't have anything to break the car window with if something trapped me in the car. Now I definitely do. And when I forget to get the mail or am on a walk, and don't feel safe in the dark, I have this nice surprise along with some others. I really do have an increased confidence that is worth every penny of the reasonable price, so much so that I got a second one for a friend. If I give a recommendation, it is an honest one, and this beauty gets my full recommendation.

I was given this weapon as a gift and I used it as my keychain, but it was taken at the airport, so please don't take this to the airport - because it will be taken. Which I hated because it was for my personal protection! So I am glad I was able to find it on Amazon...I highly recommend this to product for WOMEN!!

I don't understand why this is listed specifically for women. It is a full sized, solid defensive tool for anyone. Definitely would be effective as a glass breaker in an emergency. Well worth the purchase price.

Uhhh this sucker means business. I knew it was going to be on the larger side, but man it's a beast! Has great weight to it and feels wonderful in your hand- very comfortable. Already feel safer :)

works exactly like it should. i had an itch in my ear so i dug at it with this thing, i had completely forgotten mathematics shortly thereafter.also uncomfortable up the nose. would not recommend. it smells like stainless steel like it should, but people look at me funny and my eyes won't stop watering.use it only for jabbing junkies going after your purse and you'll be just fine.

This is noticeably heavier than aluminum kubotan. Very sturdy and I could see it being used as an emergency tool as well as a self-defense tool. Good feel in the hand.

Has a nice weight to it. It’s not sharp which is a good thing because you don’t want to accidentally hurt yourself. However someone comes at you that point will feel like a pick to them.
