Great for emergencies, good quality.
This review is for the ppfish brass"Peanut" lighter. It's great. Came nicely boxed with a few extra maintenance items. The fluid does not seem to evaporate, I use it quite a bit (daily) but I originally got it to stash away for emergency. The quality is good. I liked it so much, I later ordered a second one in the set that comes with a container to carry spare fluid.I'd buy it again and would recommend as a gift for a scout or hiker. One point, I wanted a lighter I could leave in my car in all extreme temperatures. A butane disposable lighter is not a good idea in hot cars. But a standard "zippo" type will evaporate eventually. This is perfect. The o ring keeps it sealed until you use it. And it works in all temperatures.

Buy it
Update: been using this every day for a few months now... Multiple times a day. Still 5 star! If I lost it I would immediately but again. I still haven't worn out either the wick or flint. Lights every time and I'm starting to like it better than my Zippo. Also the replacement process of the wick is going to be a bit tricky.... be prepared to use maybe needle and thread to get the wick thru the hole of the lighter. BTW.... i have yet to replace my wick.... only tugged on it (via pliers) to bring it up by 1/8th of and inch. I think i could do this maybe another 4-5 times before having to replace the wick. This thing has been solid in ALL temp conditions (butane lighters can be brutal in cold temps) and outdoor uses (wet or snowy fingers). I don't know if its the flash point of butane is so much higher than typical zippo fluid or that if you grab this brass piece out of your car it warms in your hand much quicker than a plastic lighter would... either way... I've snagged this lighter in sub zero weather and had it light up quickly....30-60 seconds faster than a plastic bic lighter. it seems to kick off in 1-3 strikes in 1-10 secs vs a bic that is 1 - 60+ strikes in 1sec - 2 min in extreme cold (i.e. 0 deg F to maybe -10 deg f). if above freezing than a bic / this lighter works... below that go with this style lighter. If you are outdoorsy go with this lighter.... its more tolerate of moisture and its not a huge weight impact.I'm ordering more a few more lighters!Original:I really like this lighter.... stays "fresh" unlike my Zippos. Not nearly as wind proof as a zippo but always lights. This is a great backup lighter or camping piece of kit. Very solid construction and comes with a lot of spare parts etc.Would definitely buy again.

Works beautifully.
I use it for lightweight camping and hunting when I cook my meals in the tent or hunting blind to light my stove. It takes up very little room and works consistently. Do note, you need to buy zippo lighter fluid for it.

Better than a Zippo
This lighter is a quality-made, reliable little lighter. I purchased one to keep on my everyday carry key-ring. It seems a little heavy for a lighter this small, but you get used to it after a few days. It's on my key-ring every day that I'm out somewhere. I was carrying a Zippo lighter in my pocket prior to this, but the fuel in the Zippo evaporates out quickly and the Zippo always smells of lighter fluid. This mini-lighter has a rubber seal that prevents the fuel from evaporating and it lights first try - every time. I test it every two or three days and on the first fill-up of lighter fluid, it lasted more than three weeks. To be sure, a Zippo might work better when you're using it in the wind, because there is no shield around the wick in this mini-lighter. But I'll take this over the Zippo any time for the convenience of its size and the fact that it doesn't leak lighter fluid or have any odor. This is a great little lighter and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to carry around a good-quality mini lighter without having to constantly replace used-up Bic lighters or carry something larger. I suspect some of my friends will be receiving this mini-lighter as holiday gifts next Christmas season.

Very Nice Tiny Lighter
The size of this lighter was exactly what I was looking for, but at $10 didn't expect it to be the quality that it is. Took off one star because you may need to use pliers (covered with a cloth of some kind so you don't scratch the brass) to get the inner part of the lighter out of the sleeve so you can fill it. Spent more than several minutes with my teenage son helping trying to get it out with our hands to no avail. Finally grabbed the pliers and it does come out with a straight pull. IMO, it shouldn't be this difficult (I have a legit vintage WWII brass lighter for reference). In any event, it works and I love it! Would be great for a survival kit or as a gift. Seems well-built and like it will last. Love that it comes with an extra wick (not exactly sure how to re-wick it but I suspect I won't need to do that for a long time), and some extra flints (also don't know how to replace that). Would help if it came with instructions, but I guess that's what Google is for. ;)

This thing is the bees knees!
I bought this to put in an every day carry kit but it is the perfect size for a key chain. I've NEVER had a refillable lighter of any kind but I found a YouTube video on how to fill a peanut lighter similar to this one. I used Zippo lighter fluid and a LITTLE goes a long way. I overdid it just a bit and when I lit it the flame sorta took over the entire top end. Once it burnt off the extra fluid though it burned as it should. The tiny little case that the extra wick and flint comes in is pretty neat. I love the lighter. I just ordered another one to give as a gift.*Update* on 06/01/2019. It's still going strong on the original wick and flint. I've had to refill it about six times. I use the lighter at least once a day, sometimes more. It's still awesome!
