Great book packed full of hope.
I loved this book. A lot of good information presented in a clear and friendly way. I felt as if she was talking to me right there in the room. Gave me a lot to think about and try. She is very respectful of others and what they have tried. I have underlined and wrote in it many times.

Hope and Tools for Autism
I loved that Jodie is giving the tools that God gave her to help her son so that other children can also experience the healing journey out of autism, if not fully, at least in measure. God is always a wonderful source for us to help usfind these kind of answers.

Awesome informative book.
I love this book. It is easy to read and very informative. We have 2 autistic children in the family and I have been researching how you can reverse autism and this book has all that information in a real life story. I recommend it very highly.

Not useful at all
The book doesnt live to the expectation. Very few really useful tips for a parent of a child with autism. The way the condition is even addressed is very mainstream: rejecting your own child and hoping it changes in order to love him! Plus the vaccine/condition connection... nope!

Was author's son misdiagnosed?
This book was recommended to me by a colleague, who had not read it himself.Jodie states her son became autistic after a traumatic episode involving vaccines. How she describes her son and his changes, can actually be attributed to a major trauma. What I found from a very quick google search:"Traumatic reactions can include a variety of responses, such as intense and ongoing emotional upset, depressive symptoms or anxiety, behavioral changes, difficulties with self-regulation, problems relating to others or forming attachments, regression or loss of previously acquired skills, attention and academic difficulties, nightmares, difficulty sleeping and eating, and physical symptoms, such as aches and pains."It is my belief that Mrs. Meschuk didn't cure her son of Autism, but cured of trauma and possibly some other minor ailment. The way everything is described in the book, she definitely did a great job in getting her son healthy. But Autism probably was a bad diagnosis from a bad doctor who is using the label without fully understanding the label or any possible reasons for the behavior changes.
