Nothing to dislike. This is a fabulous razor. Smooth and very efficient. Nice finish and looks good, highly recommended.

Efficient Razor with a couple of flaws
I bought this razor as it had received many favourable reviews on YouTube amongst the DE Shavers and I’m familiar with Fine’s aftershaves which are excellent. The reviews indicated that this would be an efficient but smooth razor, veering towards a more aggressive shave. I was looking for a razor in this area to work alongside or possibly replace my Merkur 37c Slant razor which although quite aggressive, I find to be inconsistent. I know that’s probably my technique, or lack of it, but I prefer a straight edge rather than one which is more aggressive at one end, which the slants are. So I was looking for a razor more aggressive than my Merkur 34c and less aggressive than my Muhle R41.This it is.To start, the razor comes in a fun box with brightly coloured 50s or 60s style decorations. On removing it from the packaging, you immediately feel that this is a solid and heavy razor. It’s heavier than my short handled Merkurs, my Wilkinson Sword Classic, my DE89 and the R41. It’s heft is mostly in the handle, which has a thicker girth than my other razors. The balance is well placed at the top of the handle. The main feature of the head are the two massive safety bars. These remind me of a Star Wars stormtrooper’s helmet. The razor is a three piece, and on unscrewing the cap and plate you can see the large round posts for easy blade fitting and the central screw. Some on-line reviews mention a plastic washer being in place on the handle screw, it was not present on mine. When I screwed the razor back together, I was disappointed to notice that the action was rather gritty and that the pieces did not screw in nearly as smoothly as say my 34C. I undid and re-screwed them several times but it did not improve. Only when I added a drop of oil into the screw hole on the handle did the action smoothen out. Clearly there was an issue with the moulding. Please note that it was entirely possible to load and unload the razor, but paying £40 for a razor one expects it to fit better than it initially did.I’ve now used it four or five times. The first time I was a little cavalier with my technique and suffered two or three nicks. Be aware the smoothness of those big safety bars is deceptive and does not prevent you from nicking yourself. This is an exceptionally efficient razor. Since that first shave, I’ve treated it with more respect and been rewarded with four excellent shaves. No irritation and a very, very close shave. The head is easily rinsed of shaving soap. Unlike the R41 you don’t feel the blade on your skin and the safety bars make it very easy to find the correct angle for the blade gap.The only downside in use that I’ve found is that the handle is more slippy than just about any other razor I have. It’s not bad but I make a point of wiping my hands between passes. So that and the fact I had to oil the head screw mean it’s a four out of five stars for me.But it was what I was looking for, a more aggressive razor than a 34C, slightly more aggressive/efficient than a 37C but below an R41. The value for money would be excellent if it were say £5 cheaper.

Looks good but not practical
I wanted to try something other than the usual Edwin Jagger or Muhle razors and this looked ideal.I like the quirky packaging and design and it feels solid and well made too.Unfortunately it's just not practical for me and it was immediately apparent that the large safety bar wouldn't allow me to shave under my nose. The handle is also very slippery, even with dry hands.

One happy husband
I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband who has a wide variety of razors. He was really impressed with the results after using this one.

Nice weight, unique looking and a damn fine shave!
It's a zamak razor but 10 shaves in and I love it. Consistent BBS shaves and has a nice weight to it.

Rasoio FINE Marvel quasi perfetto

Maybe i need more practice with it, but...
After reading reviews, watching many videos, i was hyped for this! All the things i read and saw said you just can't cut or nick yourself. Well, i can tell you without a doubt, i did. It's much more aggressive than the Merkur 34c i use daily. The first pass was incredibly close! The 2nd pass was where i got into trouble. It's a big, heavy razor and finding the edge was a bit of a learning curve for me. I've used it 5 times and each time gives a super close shave. Maybe the closest shave i've ever had. BUT..each time, i've had razorburn/irritation afterwards. I'll keep trying it and changing up my technique and see if the results are different. I'm sure it's operator error, so, take my review with a grain of salt. The razor itself is really well made, heavy and gorgeous.
