Is the push to talk button detachable from the earpieces and microphone? can you leave the ptt on the bike when you get off?

Yes, the PTT button stays on the bike. Just undo the quick connect and off you go. Be careful when re-connecting. The small prongs inside the connector are fragile and will bend, then the PTT won’t work. A small screwdriver may straighten them out.
