The description for this item says tan, and although it looks somewhat pink in color on my phone, it most definitely is a straight tan color (like a light paper bag color). It comes packed very firm so I emptied out more than half of the buckwheat hulls to make a perfect neck pillow for sleeping. I love how sturdy and thick the cover is. It is very well made and very easy to clean. This will replace a rolled up towel I've been using and it is immensely more comfortable, conforming perfectly to my neck and around my head to gently cradle my head and perhaps help prevent me from rolling my head at weird angles while sleeping. Highly recommend!

I have been using this pillow for the last few weeks and since using it, my neck and shoulder pains have decreased. The support, contour, and sturdiness of this lumbar pillow is exactly what I have been looking for. Prior to this, I would roll towels for support but would have to reroll throughout the night. I have replaced regular pillows with this and actually bought two pillows (1) for bed, and (1) for the couch!For support I give 5 stars, for comfort I gave 4 stars only because it does get a bit sore after long-time use (6-8 hours), and 5 stars for value of money. In my honest opinion, I feel the price is worth it because the quality is premium. I know I will also be packing this pillow for my next trip (2 weeks). I highly recommend this pillow for any persons looking for neck, back, and shoulder support. I am 5'2" and this pillow height 4" works perfectly for me.

The buckwheat pillow WITHIN the fancy outer decor is excellent! For massage, no need for fancy "case."

This neck roll is exactly as described - very firm, supportive, and breathable. It sinks down into my memory foam-topped mattress when I lay my head on it, allowing me to fall asleep on my side without shoulder pain. That said, it’s too firm for me to lay on all night, and it’s probably not a good idea to compress the blood flow for that long, but I do like it for a nice relaxing stretch after work or while watching tv.

It may be little too stiff for some user out there. If you looking for plush pillow, this is not for you. But for me, it work wonderful. I took out just the handful of husks, and was perfect for me. One thing is that there's no cover for this pillow. So I wrapped them with towels so instead of washing the case, I wash the towel.

I left my neck pillow my sister purchased in Japan and later handed down to me at a hotel while traveling this summer. It was unlike any other pillows with natural buckwheat; I used it everyday to sleep with. I thought nothing would replace it because it was already contoured to support my neck, back, and shoulders. I have been using this new neck pillow almost a month and am happy with the product as it is well made and adjustable (soft/firmness) by reducing the amount of buckwheat. It is rare that I write a review.

Honestly, I thought I was ordering one I could microwave/ freeze, but that's what I get for shopping late at night lol. Anyways. I feel like this could be bigger.The zipper on it is just fricken awful. I fought with it for a while. Honestly... I feel like I could have easily made this at home. That's what this looks like and feels like. It's not great quality.

I am still working on adjusting it to fit me properly. I'm only 5'3" and the pillow was too large for me. I've taken out almost half the buckwheat to make it flatter to fit behind my neck when I am lying on my back ... and my head able to touch the bed. Getting a new mattress this week so will wait to get that before I make any more adjustments. Definitely for only sleeping on your back.

Forget all the expensive neck and back pillows out there, this is amazing if you have neck and back issues.I have terrible issues with the muscles/soft tissue on either side on my spine and around my shoulder blades, when I'm relaxing for the evening I'll lay on this (switch it around) and it totally loosens my muscles. It's great neck support too (you may have to remove some for the neck). After spring cleaning I'm ordering a couple more. This is the best product I've ever bought for my neck/back.
