Ezy Dose Pet Tablet Cutter

I bought specifically for one pill--Pepcid AC 10mg--which I give to my dog sporadically and my cat daily right now. For the dog, the pill cutter will work on because I give her half-pill at a time...and I can use a diagonally cut pill...but my cat needs 1/4 pill twice a day.The design of this has a point which traps a corner of a sq pill fine--but I need to have it not set on diagonal to get good 1/4 pieces...It is very difficult to get this particular pill to stay in right location to cut across the top at the half...Just doesn't fit that pill that well and I bought this because a different pill cutter by same mfg had review that said I would be better off with this pill cutter if I had softer pills to cut--which the Pepcid AC is...but it doesn't have the best shape to trap/hold the pill for cutting...So far it is cutting fairly cleanly/straight but doesn't line up the right way...

I wasn't sure how I was going to cut a tiny tablet into thirds for my dog, so I bought this. If I put the tablet in the cutter just right it will do it in two cuts. It will cut a tablet in half better than trying to do it into thirds. The cutter is sharp and doesn't turn the pieces into powder. It also contains the pieces inside the container. It helps when cutting that the plastic is clear and you can see where the tablet is and where it will be cut. Overall, it's easier to use this than trying to cut the tablet with a knife and chasing down the pieces.

This works great for round pills. However, my dog's meds are oval shape and I have to be careful to get it in there straight so that they are cut evenly.

The product works for what it is. My issue is with the one I received from the seller. It did not having original packaging like the photo, but instead was put into a small ziplock with a very faded sticker. The product is also damaged, and I am pretty sure has been used before. For the 7 dollars it is not worth the return, but if I order a "new" item that is what I expect.

This thing is fantastic. I looked at buying a pet pill cutter that was roughly three times the cost of this one. But I figured I’d try this one first. It’s worth it!! I needed to cut in half these pills for my cat. They’re already like half the size of a Tic Tac, so cutting them seemed daunting. The people pill cutter was too big to keep the cat pill in place. A knife just sent one half of the cat pill flying off to who knows where in my kitchen. But one gentle push from this super sharp cutter and I had two neat halves. This was a great investment!

As others have said, it does a very good job. Does need to be replace about every 6 months or so. But with such a great price, that's really not a problem.

This works like a charm. My little chihuahua has heart medication, vitamins & supplements that all have to be cut in half. I was using a knife but found this on Amazon.com. This makes it much easier & makes an equal cut.

The whole plastic top piece was cracked when I received it in the mail. Not very happy. A waste of money. Basically spent $7 on a razor blade because that's all that's left of the product that isn't broken.

So far, this cutter has been very good. I bought a different cutter previously and it only lasted for a a very few cuts.

Works well. I use it for my own meds. Not sure why most pill splitters are marketed for pets

No problem with cutting, no crushing. Works as expected.

Dose not give a clean cut. Pills mostly broke apart, leaving a mess!
