Possibly a bad batch?
I'm not sure what was going on with these sesame seeds but they had a very bitter taste to them - I tried to use them to make tahini and unfortunately it was a disaster! Texture and everything else was fine, but the taste was just too strong and I don't think I'll be able to use the rest. Hoping this is just a bad batch as they really didn't taste right.

Use sesame seeds a lot in cooking these are very good great value for money will be buying more

Good value, but very bitter
I've made tahini with these and as another reviewer said they are very bitter. Since these are whole sesame seeds I imagine they are unhulled and that adds to the flavour. I'm not sure i'd go with this brand again in the hopes that i get the flavour I more commonly associate with sesame seeds
