Infreakinfertility: How to Survive When Getting Pregnant Gets Hard Review: Great book! - This book was such a comfort while I was in the thick of infertility. It’s comprehensive, has lots of anecdotes, nerdy analogies that I found relatable, and the perfect level of humor. The author is religious but the book isn’t overly so. It’s a quick, easy, enjoyable read. I really enjoyed the authors writing style and all the little drawings and comics within. Review: I laughed, I cried, I felt heard!! LOVED THIS BOOK! - I couldn’t put this book down!! Melanie covered a multitude of scenarios and even provided some advice on what worked best for her. I laughed, I cried, I simply felt heard and in many ways my emotions felt validated. Infertility is HARD! I felt like I was having my own personal conversation with her. Get yourself a copy. You won’t be disappointed!! Melanie, if you’re reading this. Thank you. Thank you for shedding so much light on a journey that can be so dark and scary. Thank you for making women like us feel heard. My soul needed this!

Real, informative, intuitive and comical
When you're going through infertility, you can often feel very alone in your journey and that no one can relate to what you're feeling or experiencing. This book is raw and real, while also giving you a reason to chuckle at the insanity of what actually happens during infertility - don't forget to look at the images because those were especially funny! Probably the most important lesson I learned was when Mel spoke of hope. It's easy to let yourself put up the armor and protect yourself from crashing... but hoping and dreaming are such an important part of the journey that I have renewed my own sense of hope in an attempt to keep getting up and hold on to my dream of motherhood. Thanks to Alex for a male perspective on infertility struggles too.

#1 Infertility book!
There were parts I wanted to throw my phone, others I was sobbing. It helped me relate and realize I wasn’t alone. It wasn’t like other that say “your not alone” but actually makes you feel your not alone. The way she shares her story, makes you feel like you have been wrapped up in a blanket of warmth. She shares some very personal experiences here. And I think everyone, EVERYONE, who has a loved one who suffers from pcos or other infertility, or you want to know what your friends or loved ones go through. I encourage everyone to read this. Weather they suffer or not. I can’t not thank her enough for making me laugh, but at the same time cry. You made me feel so understood. Thank you Melanie Dale, for writing this!

MUST read if you or someone you love is dealing with infertility!
Loved this book! I recommended it to almost anyone that would listen. It made me laugh. It made me cry. I never felt so understood in my life. It’s easy to read. Love that Melanie’s husband also has little blurbs and the quotes at the beginning of each new topic. Honestly do not hesitate to buy. Just do it!

A great way to explore infertility in a humor way at times
I loved this book. Not only was it informative (not very since that is not the main purpose of the book), but helped to not feel alone in this journey while being able to laugh at some of the things that cause stress.

Dead on and so relatable.
If you are struggling with the heartbreak of infertility I recommend this book! for the first time I felt like someone else knew exactly what I was feeling in this struggle. Nice touches of humor too. Even if you want to try to understand what it might be like to go through infertility to help a friend or family member cope I recommend this book. It will you give you a peak into the life of what it's like to live with this.

This book is a must read for people going through infertility! I enjoyed reading this book, and it helped me with the agony and loneliness I feel, and showed that my feelings are valid and I’m not alone in how I feel. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for help dealing with the troubling thoughts and feelings, that go in hand with infertility.

This book should be reimbursed by the health insurance, it is so funny and relatable, it made me feel less alone in my IVF struggles.

This book was everything I was looking for and more. I was searching for an emotionally supportive book to help me cope with the infertility journey. I was initially looking for something “serious”. But this was the book I didn’t know I needed. The laughs throughout have truly helped my heart lighten. Sometimes we have to laugh through the tears (and butt shots). Thank you so much, Mel. Sloppy kisses back to you.

This book is the most honest capture I have ever come across of the at times brutal, ridiculous and ever painful journey of infertility. An absolute must read to laugh off some of the heaviness from someone who actually gets it, and her husband too! Would also be super helpful for those who genuinely want to understand more of what this journey actually entails to better support their friends or family member that may be walking through this too.
