I purchased a pendant with a chain that said it was 24" recently. Upon receipt, it seemed shorter (measured and it isn't). But, more importantly, it just didn't work well with the pendant. I went in search of a "rope" style chain that wouldn't cost me a ton of money. I saw some reviews on this one and was like, ok, cool... let's go with this and see how it is. If it doesn't work or whatever, I can return it. Well... no need to return it. It works perfectly with the pendant. ----- EDIT: Update 03/01/26 It seems the leather cord is basically glued into the clasp. It gave out this morning. A little more than 3 months. It's a nice necklace, but not durable. One of my concerns was whether it would be a more relaxed leather or seemingly stiff. It's more relaxed, tightly braided, and just nice in general. For the price, if it experiences wear and tear breakage, it's easy to purchase again. But it seems to be good enough quality that I don't think I'll need to worry with that for a while. I also like that the clasp is all black. I purchased the 26" length and it sits exactly where I wanted it to, while also being able to fit over my melon of a head easily. The clasp is a new style I'm not used to and I actually really like it. I do wish it was available in a thicker size, but I'm not sure the pendant would fit over the clasp if it were.

I got it today 👍 on time, the printing is a little small, but I'm going to put my cross and Saint Christopher medal on this, can't go around with a gold chain anymore, looks good, not gaudy!!!

How anyone could ever determine for certain what this necklace is made of, especially without doing destructive testing, is beyond me. That it is woven I can tell, though, by pinching and squeezing at some point it into an expanded globe area. It's much more comfortable than the chain it replaces.

Looks and feels amazing. The snap clasp works well. The choices of different lengths are impressive - just make sure you opt for the one you really like. Men should definitely go for the 3mm cord.
