I bought the charger for my laptop, and while it works fine, the 'box' part of the charger makes a high-pitched ringing noise once it's plugged into the outlet and the laptop. It doesn't make the noise when it is plugged into just the outlet.

I have another non original equipment charger that my computer is constantly giving me pop-ups that it is not original equipment and it does not charge the computer battery but will run the computer while plugged in. My computer immediately responded to this charger, and the battery is now fully charged. I will be bringing this one with me on all my travels and hope I never leave it behind.

Purchased to replace missing power adapter for a Dell XPS laptop. Main reason for purchase was of course price, and option for same-day delivery was available. Received unit later in the evening of day ordered. Unit in box was brand new with no signs of previous use. No issues when connected to XPS 15 laptop.

looks like the DELL unit and works the same for 1/2 the price.I would purchase it again if I needed another one.

Had the first two I purchased replaced during return period, the third one started shocking me through the computer one week after the return window closed. This is the same reason I had the first two replaced. I do not have this issue with the Dell original I purchased. Buy the Dell.I have changed my review stars just for the fact the customer service provided by this company surprised me greatly in this day and age. They reached out to me, to make sure what exactly was the problem. And offered to refund my purchase. Seeing as the return period for Amazon ended two days after the second one, they did not need to do this. Finding a standup company like this is rare in the online era.

This charger works just as great as the Dell OEM chargers I own, but at much less of a cost. It's a perfect replacement for the original.

I gave this a three star rating only because I had to return it. I thought it would fit my hp gaming computer but the connector was too small. Most hp products can't be beat so I'm sure if this fits your laptop, it will work just fine. I should have read the description more carefully.
