Chesapeake Bay CandleTA35216 Candle The Collection Two-Wick Scented Candle, Blood Orange

I took a chance on this candle, having enjoyed other scents from this manufacturer. I ordered the blue cedar and fig scent, which came recommended to people who like Diptyque candles but not Diptyque's price. It's definitely a sophisticated, unisex scent reminiscent of pipe tobacco and not overly feminine. In fact, to me it has a kind of elegant men's club aroma. The wick forms a nice scent mushroom between uses. It's not as long burning as I'd hoped, but I have been using it for hours every evening. I'm here to order another, as I think this will be my living room scent, especially in cooler weather.UPDATE: I did order two more, and while they're as nicely scented as the first one, they weren't packed nearly as well. The first candle came carefully encased in an egg crate-style container. The second two were loose in a box with other items. One of the lids had come off the candle and had a dent in it. It won't affect my use, but it's a good thing I wasn't planning to give it as a gift.

This smells amazing and scent fills my entire house! I have every scent of these and will buy more!!

Love the scent and decor of holder

I purchased this candle as a dupe for another I found at Target. While the scent is nice, the candle rim collects black soot which looks messy. I may try another candle in this brand and keep the wick trimmed to see if that helps.

Great aroma that spreads really far

I initially ordered one Brown Sugar Chestnut candle and fell in love. It was perfect. I decided I needed backups and ordered a two pack. Bizarrely, both candles had the wicks trimmed so deeply in the wax that I had to burn some wax to even light them. On one, it appears one wick is missing and there’s just a hole in the wax! I’m not sure what’s going on here or if the two pack is genuine. The outsides are covered in sticky…tape residue?The one I bought first is so lovely and cozy, though. It’s not overbearingly sweet or gourmand. It’s just lovely.The two that followed are a mess, not giftable, suspicious, and not worth the money. I don’t know if it was just me, but just in case, I’d order them singularly!

Never disappointed and Last longer then others

UPDATE: I've given up on burning the candle (because absolutely no scent comes out, so I've started spooning out chunks to put in my wax warmer and there I get a nice light CLOVE scent. Still no Tobacco or Cedar, but it's a natural clove. Still disappointed, since I wanted to smell Tobacco and Cedar, but I'll use it like this every once in a while. (Not a huge fan of clove. I don't hate it, but I didn't want it in my "Tobacco and Cedar" candle...)(Original review): How disappointing. It literally smells only of cloves. I'm so sick of American candle/scent companies making scents that don't smell a thing like they're titled scent. If it's supposed to smell of Tobacco and cedar, why am I only smelling cloves, MAYBE some cinnamon, musk and a burnt woody smell. I don't smell tobacco OR cedar what-so-ever. I was hoping this was going to be comparable to their "Focus + Patience" (tobacco/cedar) candle. That one was INCREDIBLE and smelled EXACTLY like both of those things with NOTHING else (and so natural!)! They discontinued it! I cannot for the life of me imagine why! It was AMAZING! No one makes it like Chesapeake Bay did! If you're familiar with that scent and you're looking here hoping, DON"T EVEN BOTHER! Another thing is this candle is very weak. It doesn't let off any scent while burning. Couldn't smell it at all. I'm not sure if the candle was old, but, it just wasn't a good buy. $26 down the toilet.
