This is really handy to take out for particularly long or hot walks. I've had no problems with leaks or functionality - it looks pretty solid (although maybe the buttons are a weak point that will stick or break in the future) and has a rubber gasket to seal well and prevent leaks. I've had it rattling around in my backpack and had no problem with spillages. The hanger is useless though as it's so large and heavy it bangs around and gets annoying.My dog is a Samoyed cross (ended up with a snout a little bigger than a sammy and is around 30kg) and the spout is a fine size for him. I can see if being fine for small and medium sized dogs - probably fine for larger dogs too as all they'll need to get in is their tongue but I can't be sure.Dog was originally afraid/disinterested in the water bottle when out on a hot walk. I filled the drinking compartment with water and dropped the treat into the bottom so he had to lap up all the water before he could get to the treat. Suddenly he got the idea of how it all worked. Now he'll go straight to drink from the water bottle if I bring it out and he needs it.

This works really well. My dog quickly got used to it and finds it easy to use. Excellent design and leakproof.

Good sturdy water bottle/bowl, great design & holds a good amount of water.(Replacing a terrible cheap one that cost a few pounds)That leaked & was awkward for my dog to drink from & excess water was wasted.Much much better!My cockapoo had no problem getting to grips with it.We has no leakages,no wasted water,as the excess can easily be put back into the bottle.The button the you press to disperse the water can be locked,so it’s not accidentally pressed when in a bag.A must for beach trips & old bottle is going in the recycling!

As describes handy little water bottle for my thirsty cockapoo puppy, she loves it! A little hard to slide the lock button but eases with use. Unfortunately it failed after a couple of weeks the water would not flow through from the bottle to the drinking top. I contacted the seller who replaced within 48 hours! Amazing service and great product fully recommend for dog owners - thanks for the fabulous service:)

**update to my review, and this bottle has lasted just over a month of light use. Now it only lets out a dribble of water, which just doesn't provide enough for dog. The button can still be pressed in but clearly isn't opening up to let the water through.Very frustrating, as it wasn't cheap, and what should have been a pretty straightforward design has been overly complicated leading to reliability issues.I'm amazed if any of the bottles purchased would last much longer than mine has, so I question the authenticity of some of the reviews I'd read. I'd definitely advise you save your money and look at something else.*Original reviewThe only real downside is I find is it is awkward to carry on short walks, as it's too big for a pocket. On longer walks with a small bag to put it in, absolutely great.It's sturdy, can hold a decent amount of water, the dog enjoys using it, and there's no water waste.I read some people had trouble pushing the button to get the water out, we had no such issues. There a little switch button to switch from locked to unlocked. Once unlocked you push the big button in to let the water flow out from the bottle into the bowl/scoop where the dog drinks from. Once finished just push the big button again so the leftover water can drain back into the bottle, then just slide the little switch back to lock to prevent any leakage.We've not had any leaks yet so the all seems good there. I've not dropped it yet thankfully but it does seem really decent quality and sturdy.

I have in the past brought those cheep bottles that you flip over for water to poor in and when your dog finishes end up tipping out the remaining water, also as have to do a lot of things one handed I can sometimes find it tricky. So this time I thought it better to buy something a bit easier to use and a bit more substantial, yes would cost a bit more but now that I have it definitely worth it. Filled with Water tipped it every which way-no leaking. Let my pup have a drink from it-she was fine with it. I like that it can be operated with one hand hold button let water out - if not all drunk you can hold button and let water back in - so easy. You can lock the release button off if you wish, also has a carrying handle. If there was any criticism it would be that the bowl could be a little bigger, as the bottle is a hard plastic I don't know how it would stand up to being dropped too many times, so sure I will find out the hard way. But on the whole I lone it.

Seemed like a good idea, easy to use, simple button to press with one hand especially when holding a lead/bag of poop/ball launcher it was easy to do. I've had a few of the plastic bottles that you pull up and squeeze into a tray, but I find that squeezing the bottles can hurt my hand after a while and have had many leak over time.This bottle seemed like a good replacement and worked well initially, however after less than 2 months of use hardly any water now dispensing when pressing the button. Shame that it costs so much and didn't last as long as previous cheaper bottles purchased. Maybe I had a faulty one, but I wouldn't want to spend another near-on £15 to try and see

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Wasserflasche.Sie macht was sie soll.Immer frisches Wasser dabei.

Die Flasche ist superschön, handlich und tut was sie soll. Aufgeklappt kann man sie auf den Boden legen ohne das sie sofort umkippt und der Hund kann problemlos trinken. Da sie so klein ist, passt sie auch mal eben in die Handtasche und reicht für meinen Chihuahua natürlich auch völlig aus.zugeklappt ist die Flasche gut dicht. Toll ist auch die Rücklauffunktion, mit der das Wasser im Trinkbehälter wieder in die Flasche zurück kann.Leider hab ich sie irgendwo bei deiner Wanderung liegen gelassen, aber dafür kann die Flasche ja nichts...

Broke after 1 week.
