V7 Deluxe USB Stereo Headphones with Microphone - HU511-2EP

The price for this headset was realy good so I was a little worried. However, the quality is much higher than I exptect, solid and comfortable. sound quality is great. These have replaced my office issued far more expensive headphones. Only time will tell if they are reliable but I hope so as they look good as well as working well!

I bought this headset some 3 years ago and they have just stopped working in one ear - after I accidentally trod on the cable when standing up from my computer for the 100th time. I immediately ordered another pair. They are robust, sound quality is good for the price, mic works well on Skype but looses a star for being uncomfortable if I use them for an extended period (2 hours+). They survived being trodden on, pulled out of the computer when I walk across the room forgetting they are on (so not that uncomfortable !) , etc for 3 years and still look like new.

My first point is how great the headphones look compared to the image shown. Secondly the sound is amazing. I use it for laptop gaming and the quality of sound is clear and loud even on the lowest of volume settings. I have not tested out the mic but unlike other headsets I have used previously. I barely realise the mic and forget it's there instead of being an annoyance. Overall I would recommend this product not just for its price but also its quality. It's a great buy!

Bought this headset because i needed a spare to use at work... I needed a cheap, USB, with a mute mic button headset and not too flashy to use at work, and this one looked like it fit the requirements. I press the buy button on a Monday and Amazon said it would arrive the next Monday, but it was delivered Friday (3 days before planned), and since i wasn't expecting it to arrive that early, was not there to recieve it... later that day I had to go to the warehouse where it was taken to, to pick it up. The package was in good conditions and i just had to plug the headset to my PC for it to start working. The design is very slick and modern. They look very durable too. I'll mostly use this headset for talking to other people in VoIP apps and make calls to people's cells. After a few tests with some friends, the conclusion is that the microphone may be a bit too sensitive since it captures some background noise, but overall, it works very well. As for the sound, after a few random musics and bass testing videos on youtube, I can say that I'm very impressed that a headset this cheap, delivers such an amazing sound. The headband foam is very confortable, but the ear foam pads arent soft enough... The phones make so much pressure on your ears that it starts hurting after 30min. (if you're going to use them for a long time, I recommend you put it over a hood or something... that helps a lot) So, summarizing, this headset: * is very cheap * is easy to use * looks good * the mic works perfectly fine * has amazing sound ... BUT... * is very unconfortable (if used for long periods of time)

Bought these for a friend and her feedback is not positive at all. They are very uncomfortable, she is constantly saying how she has to take them off after less than 30 mins of use because her ears hurt from the headset crushing them. The microphone is stiff and hard to swing down, she has to use one hand to hold the headset on and the other to tug it down or it pulls the entire headset off her head. The whole thing just randomly cuts out like it has been unplugged for no reason at all, meaning she has to unplug and replug them in just to continue whatever she is doing and the microphone is no better than the one on the £5 headset she had prior to this pair. She felt so bad that I'd paid out for this headset she's refunded me the money I spent on it and gone back to her old headset that is being held together by duct tape. If that doesn't show how bad these headphones are I don't know what will. I asked her what she wanted me to write for the review and she said "Save your money and keep looking, this headset is trash!".

I was hoping this would reduce external noise and just pick up my voice. Unfortunately when I'm on conference calls all noise ( such as the birds outside) gets sampled, digitised and amplified down the line. Really annoying people at the other end. So great if you want all sound, not so good if you'd like more privacy? There is an issue connecting them to the PC too (which in fairness may be a Windows type issue) - plug them in and sort the sound to where you want it. Next time you plug them in the same USB socket the sound level is set to max! Not good! And then it could be the next time you connect them instead of one slider bar to control audio, there are two? Not what I'd hoped for.

I have been verey pleased with this product. It arrived quickly in good packaging, was simple to set up and has worked well from the word GO.

Superb value for money. I use mine when I work at home for my employer's VoIP and it is perfect for this. I have been told by colleagues that my audio is clearer on calls than when I use a far more expensive employer issued headset when I am in the office. Not tried it for gaming as that isn't my thing but for my purposes, it's perfect.

Awesome headset/microphone! The sounds are totally wonderful! Others can hear me with clarity, and I can hear them! I really like the mic being further from my face, and the headset being adjustable! Awesome product!! Great investment - cost was perfect!

Bought this for my boyfriend because his other one broke. We were looking for a good headset with a cheap price, this one does the trick. It sounds amazing and also does well with cancelling out other sounds while communicating on it. The only downside is he can't wear them for very long because they are very tight, I am sure after use they will stretch. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

good quality audio... like the online volume/mute control button.. was able to hear outside the headphones as well such that i was not totally isolated.. only drawback is they are tight and pinch my ears .....
