Factory Seconds?
Trucks ride great, but were scratched and dinged on baseplate as well as on the hangers. NO mounting hardware included - this seems rather odd. At any rate, they're very serviceable and bushing are soft enough for a light/young rider. If you are an adult or heavy, you will need stiffer bushings off the bat.

A different take on a traditional RPK
So I'm fairly new to longboarding, and came from fairly stable Paris 50s, and was accustomed to how they turned and felt. I heard of these online and decided to give the a shot. They come with thick soft cone bushings, both roadside and boardside, and with a cut out at the end of the hangar so that the inner bearing on the wheel sits flush against the hangar (almost, as it eliminates the need for an inner speed ring). The trucks were very turny, to the point of being unstable at higher speeds. Obviously the benefit of this is being able to make very deep carves and for that it was perfect. I haven't tried it for down hill yet, but flipping the hangar is supposed to make it more stable.I've since replaced the boardside cone bushing with a barrel bushing from my Paris trucks and they've massively improved the ride. The giant ball bearing at the center of balance on the truck provides for more surface area to get really nice deep carves if that's what you want.Important note, however: There is no washer underneath the boardside bushing, as the baseplate is wide enough to make it sturdy enough to provide resistance against the bushing itself, but depending on how you feel about, it could potentially wear the bushing more quickly.Overall, I think I prefer my tried and true Paris 50's but these were still excellent for the price and a very fun take on a traditional RPK longboard truck. Definitely would recommend trying them out.

Good Longboard trucks
These trucks seem well made, I like the oversized pivot ball. I replaced the bushings with bones mediums and it rides nice. The stock bushings are adequate but I like to change them to suit my needs.

Bushings suck!!!
Replace the bushings immediately. Some Ripcurl bushings off the bat after a day on these fixed everything. So sloppy and creaky stock.

Cool Design but poor quality/ received in bad condition
Good trucks overall but they seem to be lower quality. When I received them they were all banged up and a lot of the paint was chipped or had already worn away. Too bad I like the design but you can buy better quality trucks for the same price.

The best trucks I own.
I've never felt so much control with any other truck. I use orangatang bushings in mine but the stock bushings are nice.

Good buy
Very good trucks. The bushings in them are also very good.

Damaged on arrival
I’m sure these trucks are fine, but I’d prefer that I was the one inflicting the damage. Paint chips right out of the box? Not cool.Returning the product. Sorry Atlas, probably not your fault. Was really looking forward to trying these trucks.UPDATE - Mar 28/22: well Amazon sent another set of Atlas trucks and they arrived right away. In fact I haven’t even had time to ship the first set back yet, so that’s impressive. UNFORTUNATELY these brand new Atlas trucks suffered the same fate as the first set and have paint chips in the base (see images 4&5). Can’t understand why “they” (whomever “they” are) would ship two pieces of painted metal wrapped together in plastic. It’s obvious they did nothing except smack up against each other the entire trip from the warehouse to my doorstep. Perhaps they should be individually wrapped for they’re own protection.I am not ordering another set and will be asking for a full refund.
