I ordered this in September so I cannot speak to how this works for the actual Advent season, but at first sight it looks great.I went looking for a new Advent calendar because the one we already owned was too small to fit a treat for each of my children when we went from one child to two. Honestly, I wanted a big beautiful calendar from somewhere like PB with nice deep pockets that I could use over and over each year. I didn’t realize that this would cost me around $100 which was much more than my family planned to spend. I went looking for another option and it quickly became clear my choices were limited. For the price, I decided to give this one a try.I thought I would hate that the colors weren’t festive but now that it’s here I actually don’t. I added some drawstring bags and that was all I really needed for it to feel more Christmasy. I will probably still add some candy canes and sprigs of green when the holidays arrive. The pockets are huge and sturdy and the calendar itself is as tall as my almost-5-year-old which makes it feel extra special.As another reviewer mentioned there are some stray strings. They really don’t bother me at all. Also the black is a bit faded at the top. Again, that’s not really an issue for me. It arrived within the given date and I’m very happy with my choice.

The numbers are wrong! No 5,6,7,8.Contacted seller and they agreed to send a new one. Will update once it is received.Update: Seller replaced defective item very quickly at no additional charge. Good item for the price.

At $28 I wouldn't have personally spent that on one of these but my mother in law gifted them to us.All 3 we ordered were defective, the coloring was off on certain rows and on the corners. Its like the color got wet or hot and changed. I don't know. But its definitely dissapointing. I feel I can't trust this company at all due to them sending me 3 defective products.If it were just 1 I would exchange and think it was an accident but to intentionally send 3 bad ones...yikes.

I'm really so happy with this product. You really can't beat it for the price. The canvas is sturdy and thick, so it won't wrinkle when you store it. I expected the pockets to be very wider because how long/deep they are, but I was able to fit my four fingers in comfortably. There was some back stitching on the bottom that isn't neat. But honestly, I didn't even notice till I went to take a picture for the review, and is not a deal breaker for me at all, after all this was under $25. You couldn't make one of this quality for less.

The stitching wasn't great... I thought about exchanging it but it may have made things worse. I really like the size and style but it makes me crazy that the seams are all over the place.

This was a very well made, sturdy Advent Calendar. The pockets are large! I really like that it can be customized. For example, I took another posters idea and added burgundy velvet bags that hid the contents better! This Calendar is a great value and will last several years if stored properly!

Bigger than expected but the quality is great. Really happy with my purchase.

It is thick and I love the simplicity of the design. Since the design is simple, you can use it for any occasion/countdown, not just Christmas. Only slight complaint is that it has a slight odor, but nothing too overpowering.
