The seed is the best on the market, in my view and I’ve tried lots of varieties. The birds love it and eat all of it… some seed mixes have lots of barley or wheat heads which only pigeons seem to eat when the little birds at feeder chuck them on the ground… I was disappointed this time to find the bag has a hole in it and it was leaking seed all over the place. I don’t believe this is Copdock Mill’s issue because if the hole was there when it left the production facility, there wouldn’t be much seed left. I suspect it occurred in transit or delivery. The large bag of seed usually comes inside a cardboard box but that wasn’t the case this time. It’s not happened before so hopefully it is a one off.

I have fed my garden birds for years. Purchasing wild bird seed is a bit of a gamble because you never quite know what you're getting and if the birds will like it. I'm writing a review because this seed mix is exceptionally good and nothing is ever left. I put it out for my birds early and there's a mass scramble to get in first; the starlings usually lead the way. There is a good mix of seed to provide protein and give the birds much needed energy during the spring season. I highly recommend this seed mix.

This is a fabulous product. Our allotment style communal garden is a little oasis for song birds, grouse, Barbary doves, wood pigeons, crows and jackdaws.... A number of squirrels too. The BBC ( The Brown Bush Crew) live in the hedgerow and usually herald the arrival of that days visitors. All of them feast on this. Can't feed than fast enough 😂😍. I usually go thru 2 of this size and a 3rd smaller size each winter. Not the best photo but you can see the squirrel bathing in the ground tray (I have one hanging feeder for the small birds and ground level tray for the big buggers and the tiny wee Robin.) Providing Capdock Mill Wild bird seen, makes me happy and keeps my wee feathery pals full.

We have had problems finding a good quality seed mixture but this product met our requirements. We find that most seed mixtures contain 'fillers' such as crushed oats or maze, oats, wheat, etc that we find is thrown out by the birds feeding from our hoppers making a mess on the ground and encourages rats, crows and pigeons. The crushed grain also clogs up the hoppers when it rains and results in the birds not being able to get at the seed - daily cleaning necessary. The Copdock Mill Feast Mix is very, very clean (free from dust from crushed grain and other rubbish), contains an excellent mixture of different types of seed loved by finches, tits, and all the small birds visiting our hoppers but no crushed grains, oats or wheat. Just hope the next sack is as good, if it is then we will stick to this product - saves having to trawl through the adverts for the many different mixtures and brands available. A top quality product that the birds love and no rats at the base of the feeder station and it looks clean enough to eat!!!

I have been buying this bird seed mix for a while now, as it is normally full of chipped nuts & meal worms, suit pellets and lots of finebird seed including sun flower Hearts, my birds loved it, but this last delivery has hardly any meal worms, and no chipped nuts to be seen & is mainly very small seed and sunflower hearts, and some sunflower In seed casees, don't know why this is so different this time, but not happy, birds, I may have to stop buying this now, shame as I was really happy to pay the price for the mix Even though it was a bit pricey, but this is not worth the money,
