Another Eric Carle hit
My 1.5 year old son carried this book around the whole month of December. The sounds were fantastic and not bothersome to those who have to listen to them over and over again. Our son actually sat to listen to this book because he loved to see the pictures move and press the sounds. Even our 3.5 year old daughter enjoyed this book! I was on the fence because of my children's ages, but am so glad I went ahead and purchased. A definite hit in our household!

I highly recommended for 1.5 year and up.
My son is now 23 months. I decided to buy this book to show him a little about Christmas and Santa. He loved it. The book is colorful, has Christmas related sounds and beautiful pictures. I highly recommended for 1.5 year and up.

Good toy for infants
Short read to read to infants. But I think they will love to read to themselves when they can. The sounds and animation are what they use currently and I mean USE (as in always pushing the buttons :)). Not too loud and it keeps my twin boys occupied

Eric Carle needs to get some variety.
I don't know why I bought this book. I guess I was hoping it would be different from the other Eric Carle books. But it's not. It has very little text, OK (but not special) artwork, and 12 buttons for my toddler to push (some repetitively just to apparently annoy me so she can laugh at my expressions). There is no story. The songs aren't even long enough to sing one stanza of each song. Each page has one or two sentences on it that do not tie together in any way. There is no volume button and it's very loud. What else? On a good note, I'm surprised he didn't try to put his caterpillar up in this one. That's where the one star is earned. But that's it's only redeeming quality.

Eric Carle Storybook
Book showcases Eric Carle's beautiful illustrations with a Christmas theme. With the touch of a finger, the story comes to life with sounds of Christmas as children read the book.

entertaining for the baby
I bought this book for our 6 month old. She enjoyed listening to the different sounds. It has very few words which works well for those with short attention spans.

Sounds are good
The sounds are good... But the book is...meh. I was expecting more. It's pretty boring for a sound book. At the end of the book our 5 year old thought we skipped pages and said "thats it?". The illustrations are beautiful though.

Nice pictures
Cute book. My son loves the sound buttons. There isn't much if a story, but I love Eric Carle's artwork.
