Useful Workout Plan With Some Nice Photos
Though the cover photo of this book obviously makes it seem really dated in terms of bike design and technology, luckily the fitness and skill information inside is still as relevant as ever. Basically, you get a very effective 12-week indoor workout plan for maintaining/improving biking fitness while your trails are covered with snow. I still plan to ride in that snow as much as possible over this winter and do road rides when the trails are unridable, but I definitely think that also doing a plan like this on a trainer or stationary bike has benefits beyond what you get from just riding.

Looking good
I've only recently started the program this book presents. I might need to come back in a few weeks and provide an update on the training itself. Lee is extremely helpful if you reach out on his blog - or on Facebook. I only wish the book itself was a bit better edited and more polished. Still the content is good. I'm also a bit anal and I wish the way to calculate your "sweet spot" power was better defined and more accurate. I think many people won't care though - and you can look up ways to calculate power zones in other places and still use Lee's program.If you want to improve your fitness to improve your riding performance - to place better if you race or to enjoy riding more if you don't, this book is great - as long as you're ok using a trainer indoors.

Well written, easy to follow, does what it says-highly recommended for any rider wanting to improve performance.

Great training program, great pedaling technique source
I have this book in PDF version bought directly from Lee McCormack.I am several weeks into the program, trying the drills both on the trainer and at the trail. I already I feel improvement in my riding.
