yes it will pump any fluid you wish to run through it.. we used a much bigger unit while i was in the oil field so we didnt have a chance of ignition... they work very well.

Q: How much pressure does it put out

Pumps don't make pressure, they create flow. Pressure is the result of resistance to flow in your system. According to the manufacturer, this pump can handle up to 160ft of head pressure (with the max rated air input of 110psi). That comes out to 70psi of pressure from the pump, max. If your system flows well, it won't have that much pressure on your out-flow. It has a max suction of 0.71psi
