What a great story of human achievement! Thor Heyerdahl was a hell of a human!

I did not realize that this was a larger children's edition, with additional illustrations. But it is still good. I remember it from my childhood and wanted it for my grandson to read.

The book was delightful. It was supposedly a "youth edition". The only difference was that this edition is that this book had some excellent pictures and maps. Highly recommend the book and the movies.

It's an interesting story and a pretty quick read. As far as the actual book, I like holding a sturdy hardcover book.

Terrific true adventure. Great for those who love the thrill and mystery of discovery and hardship.

Though I did not read the book yet, my dad did and he continues to talk about the men's journey and how awesome the book is. The book arrived in excellent condition. Though used and missing it's dust jacket, It has a great look and feel to it. I hope I can read it sometime soon. I'm sure it will be an epic story to delve into.
