I lubed the threads with coconut oil as is suggested, but even so both threaded parts kept shearing off slivers of aluminum. Not exactly the kind of thing you want to put in food! The piercing tip wasn't as sharp as it could have been and wasn't sealing well, which also added to the strain on the threads and let some of the gas leak by before it would seal. I reshaped the tip so it didn't leak and didn't need to turn so hard to pierce the charger. So it at least now it functions well. Now that the threads have worn down some I no longer get slivers of metal but I always have gray sludge from the aluminum that rubs off with the coconut oil, even when I clean it after each use.

Easy to assemble and use! I bought the exact same dispenser before I purchased this one and it was about $35 more. But I don't see the difference because they are both great in quality. I use this one for my business and so far it's a great addition to my service. Yay!

After 2 months, the cartridge valve became disconnected from the lid housing and and just spun around leaking. Otherwise fine, but that made it entirely unusable.

Works great. Easy to use. It allows me to make prepared whipped cream using sugar substitutes.
